Where do I start. We came with friends who are with CLC holiday shares. Villa not to bad inside. Welcome pack consisted of a bottle of wine and a few other bits no tea,coffe,sugar etc. what you could do with after a very long day and flight,so I am glad I packed it all just in case. There were no extra sheets, blanket, pillows, bucket,mop, toilet brush,towels. We ask at reception but answer was no. My friend was told we had accommodation with swimming pool. Nope, we had a hot tub what run at 105 Fahrenheit. No chance of cooling down just your shower. We ask if they can turn it down but the answer was it can’t be turned down….. totally rubbish. Also, the outside netting was ripped off…….. it’s a must when you are in Florida. Ask receptionist if she could get maintenance to fix it….. answer was supply problems but next door was fixed few days later because it was private. Our accommodations where a supposed view of a lake…… no way, was a bit of swamp, lots of mosquitoes who where everywhere, we could not sit outside in the evening at all, we got bitten to bits. The complex was advertised with a member club, swimming pool and club bar. Sorry again, not open 4 days a week, you had to get your own food and drinks. We seen lots of people with children who just left. There was nothing. On the picture the pool looks lovely but that was not the case. We had to clean the pool ourselves because it was so dirty with wood chip, mosquitoes, leaf’s and other crawling insects. Steps to the pool broken and don’t start me on the black slimes in the filter. The sun loungers had no toppings but at least the toilets were clean…..hurray. We wrote an email to the manager who replied promptly and told us he was going to investigate but could not sort the rest out because it was CLC. We wrote to CLC but still no answer. However at least a day before we left the pool was a lot cleaner, so I presume the manager we wrote to took notice. My advice is stay away from CLC because they sell you a dream, take your money, give you a week in a lovely complex to sweeten you up and after that down hill it goes. This is not my first time in Florida but it’s the worst stay I ever was in. Well that’s my little rant finished.
