雨涵海灘潛水度假村(Johan's Beach and Dive Resort)

ダイビングでいつもここを利用してます。ホテルのスタッフはフレンドリーでいい感じです。ビールやミネラルウオーターの値段も安く、世界中の料理もそろってます。リゾートの高級なホテルとは違いますが、ローカルのホテルの中でも好きな方です。フリーポートのホテルよりここのビーチ沿いのホテルはおすすめ！空港からの送迎もあり助かります。海辺のコテージが好きでいつもコテージを予約します。TVは有線で有料になりますが、おすすめなホテルです。

When my family and I checked in, we did not get what we reserved as far as rooms. I had paid half of the deposit prior to arriving. Ding right there but could not do anything at this time. They stated rooms under construction but was not told prior to arrival. Johans tried to accommodate so we stayed. The management and crew were very nice but place just so run down and the pictures on their website not current from rooms to food menu. Later on was told the owner Johan’s passed away last year and only the wife and family now running the place. They truly need to renovate everything there from rooms, restaurant. I was told by family that they even charge for extra ice in the bucket for drinks and the food was substandard and expensive. The only think we liked were the fries and fried chicken and of course the fresh fruits. I booked this place as I have watched vlogs about their scuba classes and supposively better place to learn. Don’t know if I would even come back to do this. Was soooo disappointed and so were my family. Thank goodness we had other places to visit and do in the day. Here’s a suggestion Johan’s…you have great staff but owner truly needs to put a lot of money into this place as this was one of the worst places I’ve stayed at and probably never stay at again due to the room conditions. Needs a lot of work. Please update your website as most data not current. Will not recommend at all to anyone. Sorry for the bad review but truth needs to be told. Lesson learned.

This is my 2nd time that I have visited the place, and i really enjoyed going back here! We always get the kubo room by the beach front, affordable and you get to enjoy being at the beach. The room was cozy and has its own bathroom which we prefer. They also serve food and beverage, we only tried snacks and beer. As we dont want to get drunk. They also has billiard pool available, and we were able to play. Will definitely comeback because of the ambiance of the beach and room.

Positive -- good location -- right on the beach. Literally tables with your feet in the sand. Unfortunately, that is the only positive. Food was not good -- soggy fries, tuna sandwich that was so wet it was as if they did not drain the can and just poured it on bread, etc. Much of menu not actually available but maybe that is a good thing. Breakfast is not served until 8 (weird a dive resort does not serve breakfast, so you do not have time to eat, digest, then dive). No one showed up to make it the first morning, so we gave up at 8:40 as I had dives scheduled at 9. I only did 1 dive (planned on 2 in the a.m.) as I was not comfortable with the dive master who at times seemed to forget he was a guide for a relatively new diver. We got the huge private family room with terrace so we could have our own space in the time of COVID only to have the staffs' laundry drying on the terrace (understand need to dry your clothes but surprised to see someone walking across the terrace while in the room changing). Worse was that we had no water repeatedly during our 2.5 days and one of us had to go down and tell them so someone could go on the roof or do something else to get our water on. We understand from others in the area while we were visiting that Johan passed away during the pandemic -- sad news but perhaps explains why things have gone off the rails.

Dropped by here for 2 meals. 1st time the waitress was accommodating but the food is overpriced. Unseasoned fries with cheap mayonnaise/mayomagic. A guy staff kept staring at my wife. 2nd time was the worst. When we went in to ask for service ,they literally said "what do you want?" *** is that? Then we got the menubook. I went back to order and received the same attitude. What in the world did they have for breakfast to be that grumpy? The waitress kept on insisting to get our room number when I already repeatedly said we were not booked in their hotel. Then the same girl followed me to our table and asked in a rude tone, "Did you bring food or drink from outside? Hide it because we don't allow that here." Such rude people. Iced tea was not even stirred enough to melt all the Nestea powder they've put in it. Pizza just came. P270 for a 9 inch, premade crust, i even bet this is premade frozen pizza, ketchup based sauce, not even mozarella cheese. Sad sad pizza. I will never recommend this place to anyone anytime.
