艾蘭加塔豪華營地帳篷旅館(Elangata Olerai Luxury Tented Camp)

Le stanze (tende) sono alla fine comode. Il bagno è basico ma tuttavia funzionale. C'e' un problema di illuminazione. Nelle ore in cui serve l'elettricità c'e' ma l'assenza di una luce sopra lo specchio del lavandino impedisce di radersi ad esempio. C'e' anche qualcosa di molto simpatico però. La notte le zebre vengono a brucare intorno ai bungalow ! Il personale è molto gentile. Il wi-fi molto inefficiente. Il ristorante assai basico ma alla fine si mangia ! La strada per arrivarci è orrenda. L'entrata del parco vicina.

Luxory ?..Per arrivare a questa struttura è veramente una impresa per la strada piena di buche e voragini sulla strada. Devi sperare che non piova altrimenti arrivare e’ veramente un’impresa. Dall’ingresso del parco ci vuole circa 20/25 minuti se non piove. Personale molto gentile e molto disponibile. Premesso che Durante il nostro soggiorno di due notti non c’era nessuno, la prima camera che ci hanno dato appena entrati abbiamo chiesto di cambiarla perché era una cosa indecente dalla sporcizia e dal bagno vomitevole. Non potevo di andare via perché altri Lodge erano pieni il direttore ci ha fatto vedere altre te de e abbiamo alloggiato in quella di “lusso”. Posto carino e letti molto belli, ma il bagno era una latrina putrida e puzzolente con acqua di terra e per avere l’acqua calda ci vogliono circa 15 minuti di spreco d’acqua. Naturalmente dormi con la puzza del bagno e l’acqua a terra che non va via essendo la pendenza lato opposto dello scarico. Cucina, il cuoco è sufficiente e apprezzabile, ma il Personale “tutto” al di là della gentilezza non è assolutamente adeguato. Per fare colazione, pranzo e cena armatevi di pazienza certosina, i tempi sono quelli africani. Pole pole . Tutto sommato il ristorante è passabile. Posizione molto bella e immersa nel verde, ben tenuta è molto curata. Durante la notte il Masai che fa la guardia ti accompagna per non rischiare di incontraste animali. Posto molto bello ma deve assolutamente migliorare dalla testa e rivedere le camere inadeguate e insufficienti anche se per un’avventura.

Posto sperduto in mezzo al nulla, strada per arrivare impervia e piena di buche. Al nostro arrivo il personale ci ha accolto con molta gentilezza: a metà agosto eravamo gli unici ospiti del lodge, e così è stato per 3 giorni. La corrente elettrica in camera è disponibile solo in alcune fasce orarie, il wi-fi è presente solo nelle aree comuni, e durante le ore di buio è necessario essere "scortati" da personale per gli spostamenti, in quanto tutto il resort non è recintato e c'è la possibilità di incontrare animali. L'a**osfera generale è placida e rilassata, è un posto fuori dal mondo che a primo impatto può spaventare, ma in realtà è rilassante e rigenerante. Il lodge è carino e dotato di ogni comfort, anche se l'acqua corrente tendeva al giallino. Nota di merito particolare alla cameriera, molto gentile e cortese. Mi sento di consigliare questo posto!

When it comes to travel, I have very high requirements, and Elangata excelled them all. The accommodations are truly remarkable, akin to staying at a five-star resort; the cuisine is outstanding; and the staff and service are exceptional – they are willing to assist you with anything you require. That's all on top of the amazing safari, where we got to view the Big 5, all of the animals up close, and everything we wanted to see. We were also permitted to go off-road. Your stay at the luxurious Tented Camp in Elangata Olerai will not be regrettable.

Companions It can be difficult to find a good camp in Kenya's Masai Mara if you've never been there before. We were pleased to have had the nicest experience when we reserved the Elangata Olerai camp. To start, the camp and the park are quite near. Second, it has wonderful meals, good, large rooms, adequate lighting, and a very safe a**osphere. It was wonderful to have a camp that was so tidy.

I went on a trip with some pals, and it was unquestionably the finest one yet! from the cuisine to the climate to the camp staff to the locals themselves! The camp's amenities were excellent. Fantastic experience outside! and swimming pool. The highlights of our stay were undoubtedly the evening performances by the villagers and the early game drives!

What a terrific tented camp! If you really would like an African experience then this is the place to be. It's probably less luxurious than other tented camps such as Siana Springs, but you get a lot in return: lovely personnel and teriffic Masai people and Askari to watch over you. And they will with all of their heart! Beautiful tents with good matrasses, a beautiful Kenyan environment and the road to the camp is a real African massage experience, I can assure you. We had a lovely bush dinner organised by the personnel, most lovely and genuine persons. Nice (African) food and a nice pool.

Staying at Elangata Olerai Camp was one of the most wonderful experience we had in Kenya. We stayed there for two nights during our safari in Masai Mara national Park. The lodge is authentic, held by local Masai community. It is located very close to the park. We even heard zebras during the night ! The meals were delicious, home made and generous. One of us has food allergies but it has never been a problem during our stay thanks to the staff. The staff was very caring, friendly and kind. We felt at home at Elangata Olerai camp. We highly recommend this place for your stay in Masai Mara !

Spent the holiday at Elangata Olerai Luxury Camp located in a serene, natural and picturesque environment overlooking the Maasai Mara National Reserve and I would say the place is amazing. The reception by its team of staff was top notch and the food was awesome as well. I would recommend you check it out next time you are on your trip to the park. The Maasai Dance made our night and should be done often to entertain guests and usher them to learn the local culture and way of the people. Also don’t miss a visit to the Maasai Village; it was amazing.
