Positief: - locatie, dichtbij tal van restaurantjes en het strand - hygiëne, er wordt dagelijks schoon gemaakt - wifi is uitstekend Negatief: - Wij boekten een kamer voor 4 pers en kregen een kamer van 38 m2 met een zeer kleine slaapkamer met 2 eenpersoonsbedden, waarin je nauwelijks om je bed heen kon lopen en een balkon van 3 m2 met daarop twee stoelen. - De kamer was zeer gedateerd, de slaapbank kraakte voortdurend en de airconditioning werkte nauwelijks. - Het hotel wordt vnl. door Engelse gasten bezocht en het is erg gehorig. - De kamer lag op de begane grond en iedere keer als er boven ons werd gedoucht werden wij getrakteerd op een ondragelijke stank van het riool. Evenals de kamer is het riool dus ook aan een grondige renovatie toe. Wij kunnen deze accommodatie dus absoluut niet aanbevelen ! Kamers 1,0 Service 4,0 Locatie 5,0

Avoid This Hotel – Cockroach Infestation & Poor Hygiene! I recently stayed at Aparthotel Oceanus in Olhos D´Água, Albufeira, and my experience was absolutely unacceptable. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed cockroaches in my room. When I reported this to the reception, I received conflicting explanations – first, they claimed it was a rare incident, but later admitted that this specific room has a recurring cockroach infestation. • The next day, I found cockroach nymphs behind my bed, proving this was a long-term problem, not an isolated case. • On the third day, large cockroaches started entering through the ventilation system, making it clear that this is a widespread problem in the hotel’s infrastructure. • When I asked hotel staff and the manager when the last pest control treatment was done, none of them could provide an answer. • I was asking about refund every day from my first evening. At third day finally met manager of hotel who told that I already stayed there, so there will be no refund or apology - its my own fault and cockroaches is something what they cant control. Super sad - no sleep at all. All night stayed with lights on to check if my kid isnt sleeping with cokroach.

Stayed 4 nights in Feb in a studio apartment. Have stayed before and overall it’s a nice clean complex but a little dated / tired in some places. The bathroom in our apartment was terrible the shower tray had a massive crack & had been filled with silicone so it was very bouncy. Leaking sink tap & lots mould. Had to get a shower mat as was concerned it was unsafe. For what paid overall it was great but had we have paid more such as peak season prices then it would have been unacceptable. The complex has recently been repainted and nice new refurbished reception etc. Beds were comfortable think might be new mattresses and room was cleaned & towels changed daily.
