玫瑰海灘賓館(The Beach Rose Inn)

Nous avons fréquenté cet établissement à plusieurs reprises il y a plus de deux ans. À ce moment-là, c'était chaleureux, propre et très agréable!!! Malheureusement, l'établissement a changé de propriétaires et ce n'est plus du tout le même endroit.

I've never been so excited to check out from a hotel. This place felt like a halfway house for illegal travelers. Priti Patel's business license is current until May 2024, but dang this place is rough! The rooms are not at all as advertised. The absent "manager" left a key in the mailbox for me to pick up. This key was for one of the two locks to an odd windowless room. Door didn't really shut tightly, so light from the hall shone through. The remote to the heat / cool air did not work, so there was no way to adjust the room temperature. There were two dim lamps in the room, but only one worked. I badly wanted to wash & dry my hair after being outdoors all day, but the only appliance left in the bathroom was a clothes iron. The room was devoid of basic hospitality items like a disposable cup for a drink of water. I was so thirsty I ended up filling the ice bucket liner with water and drinking from the bag. Foolish me thought that the promise of coffee in the lobby would at least make the drive home after a sleepless night safe. There was coffee: yesterday's swill left in the bottom of an unplugged pot. Bedding and towels were clean. Plumbing worked. Do yourself a favor: get past the good-hearted notion of "staying local" and book a room at the nearest reputable chain hotel.

Rooms are very quaint and comfortable. Not much in the way of amenities plus very little in the way of sports and news on TV

This hotel was incredibly disappointing. Never saw a single person who worked there. No housekeeping, even though it indicated there would be. We had no towels, people were smoking in the hall. One dingy lamp, no outlets, room was falling apart. Warning found in dresser that balcony wasn't safe to use. Sheets were dirty. Truly did not sleep and did not feel safe.

Very convenient location, very accommodating staff, nice quaint rooms. The only issue I have is no sports on TV selection

The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights and worked out of the room for a few of those days. The room was dated and definitely could use some upgrades and attention. The biggest complaint was that we were placed in the only room without a table. And also the smallest. We inquired about switching to another room on Sunday. When I spoke to the woman at the front desk she was super accommodating then the manager showed up and said we couldn’t swap because they were booked for the rest of our stay. Funny we were the only car on the lot for the rest of our stay. No apologies to more explanation except he would have a table moved into our room. We knew he was placating us because there was NO ROOM for a table. There was a patch around the bed. That’s it. The other people working there was wonderful and friendly.

The property was fine , it was very clean, it could use some updating . Staff friendly, great location.

Enjoyed the stay, very convenient, close to all shopping/gas stations/food! Close drive to beaches
