芝加哥洛奇奧克布魯克Hyatt飯店(The Hyatt Lodge at Oak Brook)

The hotel is about 30 - 45 minutes drive from downtown Chicago and 20 minutes drive from O Hare airport. The room is spacious. A hotel with nice view and good for someone looking for a quiet & relaxing getaway.

The hotel is fabulous!! The room was clean and big, we ate every day at the restaurant it was delicious. My only complaint was the front desk stuff from checking all the way checkout they were rude not friendly and unhelpful. But not the house keeping crew, we left Apple Watch in the room and lost and found called me after we got home and mailed it to me. Now that’s excellent service 👍👍👍 we would definitely come back hopefully they’ll have a new front desk stuff professional and helpful.

We were very disappointed with service at Hyatt Lodge. My son was getting married and we had booked a lot of rooms. There was so much over billing and double billing with the rooms. They charged us really high for regular rooms because they knew we had a BIG wedding and most of our guests were from out of town. Some guests were arriving on Monday/Tuesday and they charged us over $350 a night. This is ridiculous. We tried to drop off welcome bags on Friday morning and they said they did not have enough storage and then right before the wedding ceremony on Saturday, they come to us saying they need more welcome bags. Some of the staff is so new, they had NO idea what they were doing!!! The list of complains could go on and on.... Really disappointed. I don't think this hotel is equipped to handle big weddings!!! I rarely give BAD reviews but this one was a true disappointment.

About as nice as a hotel stay gets, I usually think properties that get 9s on this site are closer to 7s, but the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook Chicago is about as nice as a hotel gets out there.

This was a beautiful place to stay. Just a couple miles of the main road W 22nd st where the restaurants are located. Why stay in a city atmosphere, when you can have a lodge on a lake. My Ribeye dinner was excellent, and I sat outside on the patio overlooking the peaceful lake. Check it on Google Maps, you may agree how idyllic the setting is. Amazing pool. You have to pay for breakfast, but it was very good. Nice bar area - key to any business travellers trip. This was the old MacDonalds corporate offices and training retreat.

* parking is not next to hotel but across the bridge. Not comfortable to load/unload. No person on duty to help with luggage. Good it wasn't too much raining or thunderstorms * Ramp to main entrance didn't have separate path for stroller (only stairs) so I had to walk with the cars (dangerous). * Baby crib had dirty poles. I wiped them all with alcohol, 2 wipes were black. Good that I checked * Breakfast addition for extra $ is ONLY 2 options (eggs or yogurt/oatmeal). You can't choose from whole menu. I think it's not worth it to buy in advance * Was given the room furthers in the corner (need to pass 2 long hallways). All side doors were locked even with key opener from outside. You can use only main front door, and door to the parking. The hotel is big and restricting the way out creates too much of walking.
