女王頭像飯店(The Queens Head)

We had lunch here just prior to flying off on holiday. We plumped for the seafood platter - smoked salmon, mussels with bacon, deep-fried crab (absolutely melt in the mouth), salsa, king prawns, whitebait. which turned out to be probably one of the best we have had. (See photo) Will definitely return.

Excellent Sunday Lunch… seated and drinks order taken right away.. delicious lunch and desserts. Our first visit but definitely not our last.

Great stay! Lovely room, the leather room. Very helpful and friendly staff, all of them, Dawn, & sorry didn't catch other staff names. Breakfast superb! Highly recommend a stay, we would definitely visit again. Lovely village & beautiful countryside.

Visited last night. A lovely inviting restaurant & nice & warm on a cold & wet evening. Table was ready when we arrived. Service was super from start to finish from all staff. Didn’t have starters but all 4 main courses & desserts were very well presented, tasted delicious (especially the liver apparently!) & reasonably priced. This was our first visit, but definitely not our last. Thank you.

Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful Mothers Day Sunday lunch. We all enjoyed all of it and the staff are brilliant. This is our favourite pub in the area for the great food and care and attention we always get. We’ll be back again on Friday.

Superb find! Helpful, friendly team lovely interesting menu and good prices. Difficult to beat and worth travelling to! We loved our fish pie packed with fish and oriental noodle. Hubby loved the ice creams and we have already booked to go back

Went for my Dad's 60th birthday with the family, we had been here a few times before and have never been disappointed with the food, service, or the atmosphere. Before we arrived we let the staff know that we were celebrating something special and they really made the effort to take care of everything for my Dad. Each of us had three courses and they were all delicious! I don't think I've ever had a fresher tasting cheesecake. Rather than the potentially awkward singing of happy birthday that staff are forced to go through in other places, my Dad was given a decorated slab with his pudding on alongside a shot of flaming sambuca, which really made his night. The entire time we felt well taken care of without being overcrowded, and the service felt truly genuine. I didn't manage to catch the girl's name who partly served us, but I at least got Nick's, who really went the extra mile to make us all feel comfortable. No doubt we will all be returning again soon.

This is the best Sunday lunch you will get anywhere in Leicestershire at any price, the gravy is amazing!!!!!!! the service is not bad, good range of drinks on offer, not overpriced, and a good price on the lunch itself is highly recommended.

What a pleasant surprise, my wife booked a table for valentines lunch. The food and service was top notch. I had the Queens head faggots which were delicious and my wife had the sea bass. Both dishes were well presented and pleasing to the eye. We shall be visiting again for sure. Why not try yourself and see 🙏❤️
