翁加拉汽車旅館(Woongarra Motel)

We were very happy here for a stopover on our trip to Queensland. The check in was all remote so we just showed up and went straight to our room. Room was clean and large and while it was a little dated, the bathrooms had been renovated. Certainly very comfortable for a day. Easy walking distance to the local RSL club for dinner. Staff were almost invisible and weren’t able to be contacted on phone. But there were no issues.

Our family of four stayed here on our way up to QLD. The room was clean and provided all the usual comforts but it was a tight squeeze with a queen bed plus two singles. The beds were comfy, the bathroom had been recently renovated, there was a new fridge with separate freezer and the WiFi was fast - even with four of us on our devices simultaneously. There was a club within easy walking distance for dinner.

A good affordable motel in a lovely spot across the road from the water and right next to a good cafe that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It was a pleasant surprise to find ourselves in a very modern fully renovated room. the room was extremely clean and had everything you need for a short stay. I would certainly recommend the Woongarra motel.

The motel is clean, spacious and is a great location across the lake. I’m downvoting this as I’ve had a bad experience during my overnight stay. Checked into the hotel at 3am from a long drive and finding out there was no towels in the room which meant I couldn’t have a shower, I messaged them at 3am(ish) to let them to send towels in the morning, the towels were delivered and being told to check out ASAP and I should have gotten an additional night? I’m not sure how they thought that 2 guests could freshen up and pack when the towels were delivered at 10am then be expected to leave as soon as possible seriously be possible and blaming the customer for this? This wouldn’t have happened if there was towels in the rooms in the first place.

Clean and tidy. A quiet location. Parking at the front door of our room. Ground floor no stairs to carry luggage. Great location near a club for dinner. Great shower.

I loved staying at the motel. Its clean, have room service, have all amenities. The staff are very kind and friendly. The swimming pool is very beautiful and chilling in hot days. Outdoor BBQ is amazing.Parking is easy and just outside the motel. Breakfast and other cafes are walkable distance.

This was a great spacious motel room with all of the basics required and expected. Would stay again.

Best kitchenette we’ve ever had when staying at a motel! Clean, tidy and comfy rooms. Really lovely motel!
