From the moment we arrived at The Enduring Heart Bed & Breakfast we felt like we were home. The cream tea that was provided on our arrival was just perfect with homemade scones and jam. Sandy upgraded us to the Marlborough Room which had the most wonderful bathroom with all amenities including bathrobes and slippers. She even booked us a table at the Brigadoon restaurant for later that evening. The breakfasts were amazing with fruits from their extensive garden. We enjoyed an evening having a coffee in the Gazebo and chatting to Sandy & Doug. They were the perfect hosts there if you needed them or they gave you your privacy. We were looking for a place to stay outside Ottawa and I am so glad we found The Enduring Heart as it was a joy to stay here thank you Sandy & Doug

We stayed two nights at this wonderful B&B. We knew this would be a special experience when we received a text from the owners, a few hours before our check-in, asking if we had a preference for the complimentary afternoon "snack", which included three succulent options to choose from, and if we needed any assistance with restaurant reservations. Upon arrival, the owners treated us to a tour of the historic and recently renovated house, along with the outdoor property, including a mosquito-netted gazebo, 6-seater jaccuzi, pool and gardens, from which some of the fruits served during our stay were picked from! The area is very quiet and peaceful. The owners were reachable at all times during our stay, responsive within a minute or two to our requests to use the jacuzzi, pool, etc. which we envoyed several times during our weekend stay. In the evening, we were presented with delicious breakfast options to choose from, and the owners were highly flexible with our dietary needs. The service, food quality, professionalism and friendliness from the owners was nothing short of 5 stars. They even played the role of designated driver to other guests that were attending a wedding! Our climate controlled bedroom accommodations were very comfortable, clean and modern, and included a thoughtful gift basket full of various goodies! We highly recommend this B&B to anyone who values high quality service and a peaceful experience. Thank you Doug and Sandy for the opportunity to recharge our batteries, we are grateful for the experience and look forward to our next stay in country paradise!

Excellent B&B. Nous avons été reçus très chaleureusement par Doug et Sandy. Avec une planche de charcuterie et de fromages. Très belle chambre et superbe salle de bain. Plein de petites attentions (un pot de confiture, des chocolats, etc.). Déjeuner le matin très copieux. La maison est agréable et il y a un bon restaurant dans le village. Une très belle expérience. This place truly is a place of luxury. I felt spoiled the whole time I was there. The owners are incredible, the building is gorgeous, the room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable, the food was amazing and the amenities such as hot tub, covered fire place and grounds were a great addition. I will highly recommend this beautiful B&B to all my family and friends who are coming up to visit. And I will definatly be back for another night away from the kids!! Being that it is just around the corner from my house.

My wife and I enjoyed one night at this gorgeous B&B in Oxford Mills over the May 2023 Mother's Day weekend. To simply state that our stay was excellent would be an understatement. Our hosts, Sandy and Doug, were incredibly accommodating and gracious. Upon our afternoon arrival, we were immediately provided with a delicious appetizer that included local berries, honey, and maple syrup as well as homemade bread and muffins accompanied by different cheeses and cold cuts. The breakfast the following morning was similarly amazing. Our bedroom was very comfortable, with a walk-in shower and heated towel racks. Each room is named after an 18th-century landowner in the immediate vicinity. The property is large, about five acres in size. The hosts are growing several different berry bushes, some of which will be new to the area. We had a wonderful filet mignon dinner at the Brigadoon Restaurant, a two-minute drive from the B&B in the village, which we also highly recommend. We look forward to staying at this lovely B&B again in the not-too-distant future. Nancy and Tom

We had such a great time at this b&b! The food was amazing and Sandy & Doug were such nice hosts! The pastries were to die for! They also greeted us with an amazing charcuterie board when we arrived. There were so many options to order for breakfast and they were just amazing! They always made sure that we had everything that we needed from extra towels to sparkling non-alcoholic wine in the hot tub. We will definitely be coming back!

Who would have guessed we'd be so thrilled to have stayed at this incredible bed and breakfast far off the beaten track! Enduring Heart Bed and Breakfast compares well with the best B&Bs of Europe. From the moment we arrived Doug and Sandy were the most gracious hosts imaginable. They have three beautiful fully modern rooms with ensuites in a centuries home that has been lovingly restored with great taste all the while preserving much of its original character. Breakfast with sweet and savory choices rivals that of the absolute best; fresh fruit picked from their yard, homemade jams, sweet buns to delight. In the afternoon, we were offered a charcuterie board and lemonade to enjoy in their gazebo not far from the pool and hot tub. We loved the experience so much we bought gift card stays for friends and family. A hidden gem well worth seeking out!

This is a gem… from the moment we arrived, Doug and Sandy were so welcoming, they made us feel at home and welcomed by loving upon us with Sandy‘s outstanding food and great conversations, the accommodations were above five star, we highly recommend this wonderful B&B. You will not be disappointed.
