An excellent hotel with fabulous service. Management was very attentive to our needs. Each morning breakfast was delivered to our door. Breakfast excellent. Hotel provided. us with towels and mats. for the beach as well as tiding up the room each day. This hotel is highly recommended.

Der Herbergsvater Gilles lebt für seine Pension und seine Gäste! Er unterhält sich gern und gibt super Tipps für Sightseeing und Restaurants. Der beste Tipp war, sich die Tram App runterzuladen,dann kostet eine Fahrt vom Airport nach Nizza 1,70 Euro anstatt 10 Eur, die der Automat verlangt.

Muy bonita estancia aunque es un hotel pequeño te hacen sentir como si estuvieras en casa el desayuno es muy bueno y la atención de su anfitrión es excelente un saludo especial a collete una perrita que nos cautivó seguramente trataré de volver

Our mother-daughter trip to Nice this past summer was such a success, thanks in large part to this charming hotel being our home away from home during our stay! Our room was spacious, bright, and clean — even equipped with a kitchenette. As other reviewers have already mentioned, Gilles and Cosette are such wonderful and welcoming hosts. Any time we needed recommendations, directions, extra amenities, or just wanted to chat, Gilles and Cosette were always very warm and knowledgeable. We also really appreciated the delicious complimentary breakfast each morning. A huge plus as well is the location — a quick 10-15 minute walk could get you to the Nice-Ville train station, Place Massena, Promenade des Anglais, and the stunning beach. It was also so convenient to have the Alsace-Lorraine tram station just across the street from the hotel, which we used to go to and from the airport. This also is a safe area, so coming back to our room later at night was not an issue. Merci beaucoup for the fantastic experience! Looking forward to visiting again soon.

El alojamiento se encuentra en un precioso edificio de un boulevard muy bonito y tranquilo. Esta muy bien comunicado con transporte y muy cerca de la playa. Al centro se puede ir caminando en un agradable paseo. Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas y con encanto. Cuentan con una pequeña cocina, mesa y sillas y aire acondicionado. Por las mañanas hay desayuno buffet con fruta, bolleria y queso y embutido. El cafe esta muy bueno. Gill y su perrita Cossette son encantadores. Hacen que te sientas como en casa, ademas de dar muy buenos consejos para que la estancia sea perfecta. Lo recomiendo totalmente, hemos estado muy agusto :)

Gill and Cosette are great hosts for this small, quaint hotel! Location is very convenient with easy walking to beach, shopping and metro. Only reason not a 5 was size of bathroom in Esmeralda room -which was small even by European standards.

The Hotel Victor Hugo is the perfect property for a stay in Nice. The owner is attentive to guest needs and the stately building is on a tree-lined Blvd across from a tram station. An easy 20 minute tram ride from the airport or a 10 minute walk from the train station.

Petit Hôtel atypique, très bien situé, près de la gare, du centre ville et des plages La chambre comporte un petit coin pour la cuisine, appréciable pour compenser les restaurants très chers de Nice Chambre très sombre, très grande qui mériterait un rafraîchissement Gilles, le "gérant" très bavard, très serviable, très professionnel pour mon plus grand bonheur Peu de chambres donc un côté familial qui ne m'a pas déplu Salle du petit déjeuner petite mais originale Petit déjeuner très correct

The check-in policy of this hotel is horrible. You have to pay extra money for check-in after 7 pm and they won't allow you to check in even when you call them at 9:30 pm. Late arrival without calling in advance is considered no show with no refund. It is impossible to see their messages and contact them when busy in traveling or having no internet service available on road before arrival. It's a hotel not like any others, very unfriendly and no tolerance to customers who miss their policies for some reason out of control.
