We spent my 60th birthday in the Wine Country caboose. This B & B was exactly what we needed after a couple of hectic months. On a very quiet street right across from the lake. This is a very unique property that has a feel unlike anything else we have ever experienced. The caboose was very clean with new smart TV, bed and coffee maker. Jamie and Dave (hosts) were the best and really made the entire trip. Breakfast was delicious and filling. This morning we took a nice walk along the lake. We can't wait to go back for a couple days and check out some of the other cabooses.

It was clean, beds are new, friendly staff, good breakfast and lake views. The only bad thing was it said it had a jetted tub, but the jets didnt work. Overall, Id give it 4 stars.

Everything was amazing!! This was the most unique and special hotel we’ve ever stayed at, and the owners were delightful. Breakfast was delicious and the caboose was very comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway, and we will definitely be returning!

The rooms were great, never stayed in a caboose, they were well designed and roomy. The steps up might be a challenge for less agile people but weren't a problem for me. The breakfast was good as well.

We Had a wonderful time at the Featherbed railroad hotel. The breakfast was great! We will definitely return!

New owners extremely friendly and have made several upgrades. Fresh and large portions for breakfast.

This place is so peaceful. The staff is amazing. The grounds are breathtaking. Have to spend more then one night.

What fun. On the way to see the Giant Redwoods in Northern CA and found this little gem. Real Cabooses that you can sleep in, and then a great morning breakfast by Jamie. A really nice find in Nice. ;)

What an absolute delight, the warmest welcome, thoughtful rooms, outdoor activities and a delightful view. I felt like I'd come to visit family.

Everyone at the featherbed railroad are wonderful, Richard, Jami, and David. We were treated like a members of the family. The location is beautiful, quiet and serene. The anamites are great. Lots to do, see and enjoy. We are looking forward to coming back, we want to stay in all of the cabooses. Thank you to all of the staff at the featherbed.

Great service, and friendly staff. Beautiful and peaceful view of Clear Lake. New management is focused on adding amenities, and addressing some neglect from the previous owner. I look forward to stay again next Summer!

We so enjoyed the unique experience of staying in a caboose. The owners David and Jami as well as their property manager, Richard were personable and friendly. We will definitely stay again because it is quiet and restful.
