The hotel's picture shows a highrise, but the hotel itself only takes fl 1-6. If you do not get the 6th floor, you will either get the view of the town or the back side of the quality inn bldg. You can use the elevator to the 18th fl and walk 1 fl up to have a birdeye view of the falls. Breakfast has to be preordered.

We love this property, everything is walkable, falls are 4 minutes away walking! If you go to 18 floor you have a view to the falls i love it! Staff super friendly and room super super clean! Parking easy! I do recommend this hotel if you are looking to be near the falls! Family environment as well! Love staff! Love the food, breakfast was delicious!

The a**osphere is great and the service team is amazing! Beds are comfy and everything is clean. Drawbacks: we stayed during a winter storm and had to jack up the heat to keep it warm. And our shower was very low flow. But to me, that's to be expected in an older hotel. The charm is worth it.

This is a beautiful old hotel that has been renovated and refurbished, yet retains its original elegance. We stayed here during the off-season at Niagara just before Thanksgiving, and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean and spacious, the free breakfast was great, the staff was friendly, and the 19th floor sky loft is a neat spot to see much of the city and Niagara Falls State Park (sadly, you can't see the falls well, since they "face" Canada). The best part is that you're within walking distance of the falls and several local restaurants - and Buffalo is only about 25 minutes down the road. I would gladly stay here again.

The Giacom is a great boutique type of hotel. There are many great things about this place but a few that would make me think twice about coming back. The front desk personalities have some real issues of how to greet and even present themselves. From the moment we checked in it seemed like a major inconvenience for them. There seemed to be a more important TV show in the adjoining office. Each time we either entered the building or were coming out of the elevator the staff member behind the front desk either made a quick exit to the office or zero greeting unless spoken too and even that seemed like too much effort to respond.

There was a huge argument right outside the hotel the night we arrived. The very next morning there was a fight in the front lobby at 9am that no one was stopping. You definitely need 24/hr security. After that if I had kids with me I would of left.

This older hotel is a converted office building. Some of the plumbing for the room above is exposed against the ceiling of the guestrooms below, and is so noisy that continuous sleep isn't possible with guests flushing toilets upstairs. The heating rattles, too. Breakfast starts at 8am. I do not recommend this hotel.

Loved all the character of the building. Would have like some vending options for drinks after hours. The only rude staff was on the weekend between 2 and 6pm. The test of ataff was awesome! Thank you to Gabby for information when we checked in!
