魁斯飯店(The Quies)

Das The Quies Hotel ist ein absoluter Geheimtip in Newquay. Das Zimmer war riesig und richtig sauber. Ein Willkommens-Schnäpsle soll jedoch nicht die Wahrnehmung trüben sondern ist von den überaus freundlichen Gastgeber lieb gemeint. Das Frühstück war (und das haben wir in England nicht erwartet) der absolute Hammer. Leckeres Brot, tolle Auswahl an Fleisch, Früchte, Cornflakes und das typisch Britische (Eggs, Bacon,etc.) war sehr lecker. Selbst die Hauskatze hat uns verabschiedet 😉 Die nahe Distanz zur Fress-Meile rundet den Besuch ab. Sehr gerne gehen wir wieder in dieses Haus ! Thanks Guys ☺️

When I read that this establishment labelled itself as a 'home from home' I had no idea that I would book out feeling like I was actually leaving my home. From the moment of checking in my stay was fantastic. The room was great, with a super comfy bed. Location was near enough to town to be handy - but far enough out to avoid too much noise. The owners are just lovely, especially Nell who I just fell in love with and was so sad to leave. We had great chats as I sat at the bar, she cooked a wonderful breakfast (also offers a help yourself continental breakfast) and made me chuckle far too much. Sylvia (?) was serving at breakfast and she was so lovely & attentive. The experience really makes you feel like you're staying in a super expensive hotel, but with a lovely informal atmosphere. Overall, I can't fault my stay. The price was more than fair, the food fab, room just spot on and service beyond wonderful. I can't wait to visit again and am actually looking forward to work taking me away! Thoroughly recommend!

Me and my partner stayed here for three nights at the start of July and we were so impressed with everything. The room was spotless, the hotel had some amazing facilities and all the staff we encountered were very friendly. The hotel is in a perfect location- a short walk to the beach and town centre but still quiet at night. We couldn’t fault our stay here and would stay here again when visiting Newquay and Cornwall.

We booked a 2 bedroom family apartment at the Quies Hotel for 1 night. It was a last minute booking due to the lovely weather so wasn’t sure what to expect. The apartment was fantastic! It was spotlessly clean and had plenty of room for our 16 year old twins. The location is perfect too. A 2 minute walk to the centre of Newquay and a 15 minute walk to Fistral Beach. All the staff were polite and helpful. Would not hesitate to book again and would stay for longer next time. Thank you for a lovely weekend

Lovely clean hotel, with nice welcoming staff & tasty breakfast. Perfect for families. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will definitely return! 2 minutes from the beach, town attractions & restaurants. Great little hotel if you want to visit Newquay x

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night while in the area for work. I’ve got to say we were pleasantly surprised ! We didn’t expect much and only wanted somewhere to lay our heads for the night. We arrived late at around 9pm but the owner was lovely, checked us in, showed us around and offered us refreshments. Nothing was to much. They explained about breakfast but we explained we would be gone early so wouldn’t have breakfast. The rooms were lovely, comfy bed, spacious and utterly spotless! 5* to the cleaner! On checking out I found the owner in the kitchen as reception was shut and didn’t just want to leave the key. She was lovely even offering if we wanted to take some food away with us as we couldn’t stay ! This hotel is lovely and we will be back this time we will plan is better so we get to spend a bit more time there and enjoy the breakfast as it looked and smelt amazing !!

The most amazing hotel!!!! Absolutely spotlessly clean - the lady that does this is a superstar. Hosts were lovely- so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was fabulous - so much choice. Really central location to access everything. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back

Lovely place to stay.Beautiful room with lovely decor,very comfortable bed and beautiful ensuite.All very clean and tidy and modern.The hosts were 10/10 for friendly helpful personalitys.Nothing was too much trouble,and they were both very welcoming.Because we had to leave for work before breakfast they made us lunch to take and a gigantic breakfast baguette this morning which was really nice.I would highly recommend the Quies Newquay.We would definitely go again if we are working in the area.

Second stay at this lovely guesthouse and would highly recommend it. Spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed, good shower and a plentiful well cooked breakfast. On site parking included in price and a quick and easy walk into town. Friendly and welcoming host. Looking forward to a return visit soon.
