宜人的麋鹿旅舍(Pleasant Moose Lodge)

All the times that I have stayed in NewBerry this is by far the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. There were hairs on top of the sheets after pulling back the top blanket, shower drain trim was coated in dirt and grime, bathroom floor was dirty with piles of dust behind door along with the front of tub. Not to mention all the holes that were patched, yet not painted along with molding around the bathroom door busted. Only one small trash can for the entire room. I would not stay here again.

The staff here is what made our stay such a pleasure. Some of the other guests we met each day in the lobby at bkfst were smelly and just trashy. Some teenager came down in her nightie w short robe wide open. She was there w mom n siblings. They rarely ate anything just came down to sit in lobby. Ugh. Took up space and were unkempt to say the least. A bit unappetizing. However, the rooms were clean and we did have to switch rooms in middle of r stay due to super thin walls on an adjoining rm (nobody’s fault) n Becky was on it. They were very kind and helpful w everything. Bkfst was good n hot daily which saved us time. The second room we stayed in the beds were super comfortable. Great place. Great staff. Very affordable.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Dining area was somewhat small.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff. Very clean. Loved the popcorn and water offered in the lobby. I would stay here again.

The perfect place for a visit to Michigan's UP. The Pleasant Moose Lodge in Newberry was centrally located for our trip. Nice rooms, clean and extremely nice, helpful staff. Drawbacks- no elevator, free wifi but limited cell service in the UP and in need of new mattresses. Ours was too soft. Breakfast was good with homemade blueberry compote for our waffles, toast or biscuits. Even had popcorn and ice cream bars free everyday. We were an hour away from Pictured Rocks, Tahquemenon Falls, the Great Lakes Shipwreck museum and several other popular attractions. Stayed 3 nights and would definitely stay again.

The rooms were clean and the breakfast area was small but homey. The staff were friendly and kept everything organized and clean during breakfast.

The staff was wonderful! They were friendly and accommodating! They are what makes the moos so pleasant! The facilities are ok but the staff make up for what up for it. There is, always fresh popcorn ready and sweets and coffee for snacking. Highly recommend!

We really liked our stay here. There were just a couple of nuisance issues that keep it from a 5 star. 1) The lobby and hallways weren't air conditioned on two of the hottest days of the year. The rooms were good but the rest was miserable. 2) Our bathroom light was having ballast issues. Turn it on and it was like a ******* house light. It would buzz and flicker, but once it was on, it was good. 3) I had issues with several plugs not working. Might have been just me tho .. not sure. I will say tho that we'd stay here again if coming back to this area.

The staff was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. Rooms are good size although older facility. Have free donuts and popcorn all day. Breakfast looked good and our friends enjoyed it. Quiet rooms. Good location for the places we were visiting. Stayed 4 nights. Would definitely return and recommend.
