The staff was very friendly, from the second I walked in the door. I was anxious as I had never stayed in Newberry overnight and the staff made me feel right at home.

A perfect location at a reasonable price to enjoy the outdoor opportunities of Michigan’s upper peninsula.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and accommodating, would stay again.

Room was not the cleanest, but wasnt so gross that i wanted to leave. sauna was not working and they had issues with the hot tub bit then it started qorking and they saod we could use it but never took down the out of order tape. Then when we went to leave one of the housekeepers was yelling at another one and she was loud. Was not impressed. Had a nice family trip to the falls.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again!

Disappointing that the sauna wasn't working when we were there. Thankfully we enjoyed the pool and hot tub the first night we were there. The second night the hot tub wasn't working. Stayed 2 nights. It was a get together with family so we were trying to make the most of it. The woman checking you in could be friendlier.

Listed amenities of a sauna and hot tub were broken. We were told the hot tub would be fixed by maintenance but it was broken the entire stay. Our room was freezing and the air conditioner/heater in room didn’t adjust it just blew cold air and the vent was covered in dust and mold. My son has asthma and got sick. The beds were hard as a rock. Breakfast wasn’t that great and mostly picked over. Coffee was always empty and had to ask for coffee to be made. Overpriced and needs major renovations.

Loved the pool and it was open until midnight. The hot tub was a bit too hot for me. We were not told that there was a omelet bar being set up to open around 9;00 at which time we had eaten and was checking out. Would have stayed for the omelet bar and skipped the waffles.

The tv was not working & staff unhelpful. Staff asked us, guests, to call the 1800 number on the tv to get it to work. The tv providers were not impressed with this & almost didn’t reset the tv for us since the hotel staff were the ones who were suppose to call
