紐約市下東區Moxy飯店(Moxy NYC Lower East Side)

Room was tiny which is to be expected in NYC. The storage under the bed was nice. It felt like the bathroom/shower area ate up the whole room, and it took 24 hours to realize there was a light switch for the bathroom mirror so I could adjust the lights to only have the bed sconces on while watching tv at night. Mostly I’m disappointed that I paid extra for a city view and my view was of a courtyard. But other reviews complained about the noise and I didn’t have issues with that (on the 7th floor) despite my visit falling over a weekend. The elevator process was cool and the elevators themselves were fast. It was a cold and snowy weekend so it was nice they have a door guy at this hotel! The lobby area was really well designed - nice and funky.

The property is new, just opened in October. It’s in a great location, walkable to LES, SoHo, little Italy, and Chinatown with close access to the subway. Cons were the bathroom wasn’t clean when we went up to the room. The toilet had hair and was unflushed. Another inconvenience was the elevator that required a keycard scan to go up to the room. When we arrived, access wasn’t available to our floor, and we had to wait for maintenance to fix.

Really loved staying here, but fire alarm went off due to steam in the room from the shower. Not sure how that’s avoidable with the design of the room and the fun sayings on the mirrors…that can only be seen with steam. Otherwise, had a lovely time but left without a morning shower!

Perfekt fräsht hotel med topp läge i på Manhattan. Enkelt ta tunnelbanan vart man än skall ta sig eller gå några block så är man i little Italy, och Soho. Kan rekommendera också restaurangen i källaran Zake No Hahna. Grym japansk restaurang.

No check-in é informado que será feita uma cobrança somente de depósito (e o valor total será reembolsado após checkout) e que também “ganhamos” um crédito de 30 dólares por dia para gastar no café ou bar do hotel. O que não explicam é que esse valor de 30 por dia é uma taxa extra que será cobrada de você (do valor do depósito). Isso não é informado pelo site ********** ou pelos funcionários. Uma desagradável surpresa pra um hotel que já tem diárias caras.
