The actual room was completely opposite from the pictures presented on the hotel website or *******. That’s my main concern. The furniture including the bed was very outdated, the grey carpet in the room was so old. No view from the room, and very noisy starting 6 am when the city is up and ready to run. They have fancy sofas in the tiny lobby, but the furniture in the room was nothing similar. The only good thing is the location, it’s close to Central Park and some other popular places. With this hotel you kind of rent the cat in a bag, you don’t know what to expect when you check in. I would not stay at Lombardy again.

This is a well situated hotel from which to visit many of the main attractions of NYC. The front desk staff were excellent and always helpful when assistance was required. However it seems to be fairly dated and tired. Given up on an internal bar and breakfast facility (Post Covid staff availability). Noisy and tricky aircon system. Would probably benefit from a complete modernisation program. But expensive exercise. That said, enjoyed our short 3 night stay, aided by excellent staff.

Amazing hotel located two blocks away from famous 5th Ave, clean and modern with the friendliest, kind and pleasant customer service. All employees starting with front desk , doorman , room service will take good care of you. Jimmy was the best. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

The staff was good and the location is fantastic. There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee, we had to go out and buy a pound. On our second night the maid left us some dish detergent and a sponge instead of washing our glasses and mugs.

The only good thing about the hotel was the staff they were friendly. But price was too high to get a dusty, filthy bathroom bed was uncomfortable and the bathtub was clogged. Also a lot of noise due to the construction nearby.
