I visited The Ned for a friends overnight “staycation” to celebrate my birthday and couldn’t have been more pleased with my stay. The staff at TheNed provided outstanding/ world class hospitality and far exceeded many of my five star and premium hotel experiences. Every staff member I came into contact with was exceptional and super friendly. Melissa A (Guest Relations Manager) provided a personalized and detailed oriented experience during my stay. She checked in with me to make sure things were going well, sent a personalized note to wish me a Happy Birthday and carefully explained all the facilities on site. She was patient, professional and explained all the wonderful experiences from the live music, Little Ned (cocktail bar) and rooftop as we were very interested in on-site activities. We stayed in the Family Atrium room which comes with two queen beds, nice size closet and a spacious bathroom. The room and bathroom has everything you potentially need during a hotel stay including: premium/full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body exfoliator, hand wash and lotion. They also provided robes, slippers, coffee machine ( pretty coffee cups) dental kit, mouth wash, q-tips, cotton pads, small facial product vanity kit… and so much more I am forgetting at the moment! We had one very minor issue in our room that the staff IMMEDIATELY responded to and took care of. I felt well taken care of here which is something I appreciate as someone that has traveled and stayed places where guest comfort wasn’t a priority. I’d also like to mention the beds are incredibly comfortable and soft with several cloud like pillows and the hallways are sultry with a very romantic vibe. I’d like to thank Tom from guest services for helping me find a couple of items I forgot and again, immediately responded with a smile just before checking out of my room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting NYC and want a cozy yet upscale experience in the heart of NYC! Also a great place to just relax if you’re a local:-)
