Oof. This was a rough go from the beginning. A lot of "little things" added up over our four-night stay that were just wholly unacceptable, especially at $359/night. We were sent to a dirty room upon checkin, moved to a clean room that didn't have properly working a/c or a shower that drained. Moved again to another room, where the toilet ran incessantly. Our key cards kept deactivating, so we were constantly back at the front desk to get them reactivated - and not one time did anyone ever ask for so much as our name to crosscheck against the reservation - a real safety concern. Our room was not cleaned two days, despite multiple requests. Walls are thin. And, the bar, for which we had drink vouchers, was closed when it was posted that it should be open. Apathetic front desk attendants, who were frequently head-down on their cell phones, were ever much help. We were never even so much as greeted upon entry/exit by hotel staff. Overall, extremely disappointing, especially for the premium Jazz Fest weekend prices we paid. I understand there's a new GM. Hopefully he can turn it around.
