新森林小屋(New Forest Lodges)

Although this place has good ratings this was somewhere we would not have gone to had we realised the fishing was abysmal and there are no bins for rubbish or recycling and you are expected to take it either to the central place where the coucil's dumpster is located or to the main house which is a long trek away, never have we been anywhere where the facilities are all focused on the hot tub, jacuzzi bath and not much else. Also didn't realise there was no wifi, the SKY TV was nice but no substitute for everything else

Well where do I begin. What an amazing place. The lodges were immaculate, the whole feel of the place was just so tranquil and perfect. We had 2 x 2 berths and 1 x 6 berth. The owner was so lovely when we had a medical emergency too and stayed up top for the ambulance to arrive. There is no wifi or reception but you know what, I think thats what made it even better. After the wedding we had a peaceful relaxing break with no interuptions. My husband and I are definately going to use this as a short getaway again.

Went here for a valentines getaway for two night. Lovely place, quiet and peaceful. Sky tv was included, and a cake! What more could you want. Bed was comfortable and there was parking next to the lodge. Hot tub is a great addition to the stay. Perfect.

We stayed here over New Year’s Eve weekend as a family of 4 and it was exactly what we were after. Despite the weather we explored the local forests and ventured as far as Bournemouth for the arcades on the worst weather day. The lodge was lovely, well-kept and had everything you could want. We cooked twice and the kitchen was well stocked, even had a knife sharpener and welcome treats including fresh-baked bread, homemade lemon drizzle cake and a bottle of prosecco. As it was Christmas the lodge was decorated with a Christmas tree with choccies and candy canes too - the owners have clearly taken the time to think about all the little details which make a stay-away that much more convenient and enjoyable. There is no wifi - we managed to get a tiny bit of 3G by the window however we even surprised ourselves and enjoyed being offline for a while. The Sky package is good and includes sports and kids but not movies. The hot tub was well used by us day and night, and was checked every day by the staff. On request we hired rods and tackle box for £5 and the boys all had a go at one of the many lakes to choose from. We highly recommend this peaceful staycation.

What a great place. The team are so friendly and helpful. In advance of our trip, we were sent lots of helpful info. Check in was fast and easy. The setting is stunning. The lodge and hot tub spotless and with everything we needed as a family. It was great to have a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. We absolutely loved staying here and didn’t want to leave. Would love to go again.

A real gem. If you want to come home feeling totally relaxed, this is the place to go! I can’t recommend enough, beautiful lodges with everything you need and more! Hot tub was a dream! The personal customer service by the owners, was above and beyond, they really make you feel welcome. No internet and phone signal, bliss! Can’t wait to go back.

This was our third time staying at New Forest Lodges which I think says it all. Lovely, peaceful location. The lodge has everything you need. The people who run the site are nice and helpful. If you want a relaxing break away from it all and a hot tub this is the place to go.

Peaceful, stunning views, fishing with the children , walks with the dog, gorgeous Lodge, luxury hot tub. The staff were so friendly and helpful. All the extra touches for our arrival made us feel very welcome . We will definitely be back . We loved it!

Just come home from A Monday to Friday break after staying in the Woodpecker lodge. The Lodge had everything you needed and more. The homemade cake and bread was absolutely fantastic. And I can highly recommend the Breakfast Pack of Sausages, Eggs and Bacon which we ordered in advance, and were in our fridge on arrival The only downside to the week was some car trouble which we got sorted in the local garage, and the rather wet weather, which again, not much you can do about, except stay in the hot tub. Certainly recommend this place for its peace and tranquility, brilliant staff and outstanding accommodation, and we will certainly be back.
