希德拉四季飯店(Four Seasons Hydra Luxury Suites)

Πήγαμε για μπάνιο ύστερα από κράτηση..κόστος 20ε το σετ...η βάρκα 10ε το άτομο (both ways). Συμπεριλαμβέται πετσέτα.. το προσωπικό ευγενικό.. Η παραλία και η θάλασσα με πέτρες.. Το μόνο κακό ήταν ότι στη παραλία από φαγώσιμο δεν υπάρχει τίποτα...αν θες κάτι να φας πρέπει να πας στο εστιατόριο του ξενοδοχείου.

We are regular visitors to Hydra and always look forward to our visits to the Four Seasons. The restaurant has great food and a really special a**osphere - but the highlight is being welcomed by the brilliant Stefano and Elias! We also appreciate Angie who runs the beach operation, we thought that the wonderful Dimos would be irreplaceable but Angie has turned out to be an absolute star! During our most recent visit we got married on the Island and had a post wedding lunch in the olive grove - absolutely magical and loved by all of our guests!!

The best combination of beach and dining is at the Four Seasons Hotel at Plakes and the more you go, the more it grows on you. Take a dedicated boat from the Port, be welcomed by friendly staff who always remember you, lie on your bed under the shade of an umbrella, gaze over the shimmering water at the grey and purple mountains of the Peloponnese, and order your first drink. Reach for your rubber shoes, a must for the pebbles, slip into the liquid velvet water and wallow. Whether you read a book or nod off to sleep, the gentle lap of water on the pebbles will mesmerise you into Zen mode. When you're hungry take a few steps to the taverna and dine on seriously tasty traditional Greek food. They're open for lunch or dinner. I suggest staying on the beach and having an early dinner as the guaranteed sunset is sublime. I go every day! I have not stayed at the hotel, which I might add, is not part of the large Four Seasons Hotel chain.

We stayed there for three nights and we have to say that was the highlight of our trip to Greece. The hospitality and service was great and the selection of traditional Greek food was absolutely delicious! The room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed swimming in the ocean and kayaking (despite the water being quite cold this time of year) and just relaxing by the ocean. It truly is a special place and I highly recommend staying there! What a spectacular hotel!

There are only eight guest rooms that included all ammenities. The eating area could have been out of a movie set. The beach equipment and attention to each guest was impeccable.

This is not the Four Seasons that you are thinking.....Which is funny b/c it's so much better than any of the corporate-owned Four Seasons. The location is breathtaking on a private beach along a walking trail. Arrival to the hotel is by private water taxi. It runs regularly to Hydra town on the hour. The rooms are low-key luxurious. The food is terrific and the staff works HARD to make you happy. The attendant at the beach brought us pastries from the town one morning. The gardens and the grounds are pretty. We loved it. The corporate Four Seasons should take a lesson from this magical little spot. What a treat.

Beautiful and simple place. Staff polite and friendly. The absence of cars and sound of mobiles ringing was bliss. Just small enough to feel like a retreat. Their small beach terrace was very well organized with reserved spaces for each room.

We didn’t stay at the hotel but we did visit the beach for the day and it was a lovely place. We felt like a hotel guest. The sun loungers are comfortable and only EUR20. The toilets are clean and inviting and the restaurant was nice. There are a lot of walks nearby and it’s situated in a small cove. It’s hard to get into the sea due to the stones and pebbly beach. Tip: make a reservation

It has been the second year in a row we have come to Hydra. I highly recommend the experience . The hotel has the best restaurant in town . The working staff is fabulous. Our special thank you to Angie, Stefano, Mário and Zoe, who are wonderful and made everything possible to ensure our complete satisfaction, with a special recognition for Zoe’s amazing singing talent .
