I stayed three nights here in February. The most appreciated aspects were the seaside view, the sauna, the breakfast buffet, the complimentary shuttle service, and above all else, the friendly and professional staff.
However, all in all, this hotel—and perhaps hotels in general—has come to be outdated. The pictures are highly deceiving. The only pool available to me at the time was a small, cold pool in the gym area. The gym itself was nothing more than some weights and few machines, some of which out of order. While I paid for a deluxe suite, those pictures too are highly deceptive; the room is small and uses the illusion of mirrors, and had no bathtub, and no smart TV for streaming purposes. The surrounding area is a beautiful seaside, with a shallow sand-bar beach. But as for access to restaurants and shopping, this area cannot compete with downtown Athens. There are a few (nice) seaside restaurants to choose from out front, but you are largely surrounded by residential buildings. If you want to take a 15-20 minute stroll, you’ll find a more lively ***** for shopping and dining.
Overall, for the price, this hotel could not compete with the amenities available with Airbnbs, nor the centrality of downtown Athens.
Perhaps this hotel is best for business meetings, and those who desire to utilize the spa.
