瑪格麗塔維爾沙灘度假村(Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau)

Beside a daily tax fee of $55, that was never mention, they put a hold on my card for $200. A day for amenities or daily charges, TOTAL $800 BUCKS MANDATORY. I was not on property to use any unless it was to sleep in my room. So on check out they informed me it would be FIVE TO TEN BUSINESS DAY BEFORE THEY RELEASED MY $800 DEPOSIT. Now they have had my money for five days & now they want to keep it for another FIVE TO TEN DAYS.. WHO DOES THAT???

July 10-13, 2021. Absolutely NON of the listed amenities were available (read:no Margaritas available at the Margaritaville Beach Resort). The only restaurant available at the hotel was even closed 1/3 nights we were there. Construction going on… everywhere. $45/day charge to have your room cleaned? Very few shops, in the local area, were open. Give this $$$$ place a mis.

Our room suite was really nice. We enjoyed our room and stay. The property has a great private beach and they share another beach with the British colonial . There are great free outdoor activities to do ( I.e. water bikes, etc. ) Mark who works the outside lobby doors is so kind and so professional. He helped us out so many times finding taxis. We liked how there were water stations available. Only downside is there aren’t enough food options & most of the time the food wasn’t available . The menus were limited. Many times we went to eat at the British colonial or to another restaurant instead. Most menu options at the resort always consisted of fried food , reheated sandwiches or salads. ( didn’t seem fresh) Not to mention everything is at least $20 .

Amazing view from the modern, great room and great service from the restaurant and bar staff, but the experience was marred primarily by the failure to clean the interior of the pool from Saturday to Sunday (debris all over the main pool bottom, sand in the hot tub from the day before, etc.) and the theft of my daughter's sunglasses and snorkel mask (left on a pool chair DIRECTLY underneath a security camera!!!). Security just said check back later, but we didn't give up and a pool attendant provided the bag minus those items. Front desk concierge also told us we had a confirmed dinner reservation at another property and when we showed up the restaurant said they had only sent a last minute request, and that no confirmation was given or could be given. Several other minor issues like these added up.

This resort had many small problems. First off, most staff is not very friendly EXCEPT. LAKEISHA at the beach. She is amazing. We started with our families being on separate floors even though we had booked two rooms under same names. After informing the front desk that the room directly next go my husbands room was available, they moved us only bc we mentioned to them a few times. The phone didnt work in the room, shower pressure was laughable, we had to wash our hair in the sink, housekeeping was not consistent. We stayed a week and had housekeeping 3 times. We had to pay $180 a day to get a cabana at the beach bc all beach chairs are taken by 10am by cruise guests that pay to come in. There is only one restaurant at the hotel and it takes forever to get food and is very overpriced. Almost $200 a day for breakfast for a family of 5. Only other option was a quick grab place that had microwavable sandwiches. And old pastries. I ordered a fruit bowl with yogurt at the beach for $14 and was given the $6 fruit cup from the convenience store and a drop of yogurt to dip. There is NOTHING going on at this hotel. No entertainment, no kids activities. Nothing. On top Of all of this, most of the staff eat rude and dismissive I would mot recommend this hotel. I would never return or refer anyone to this Margaritaville.

we were there for our anniversary and called ahead for wine and cheesed crackers and everything was there. we truly enjoy the place the room was great clean and restaurants on the property was good.
