Not a bad vacation but definitely lacking as far as an All Inclusive.
The Resort is old and tired but relatively clean and the staff were very friendly.
We asked if it was safe to drink the tap water and we're advised not to but we're told we could purchase bottled water in the gift shop and refill it at the bars.
When we got to the room we realized that there was no fridge in the room, stocked or not. In all our travels to all inclusive all over Mexico, Jamaica, the DR and even Cuba we have never not had a fridge stocked with pop and water and even beer.
The food was very good but access was sometimes an issue. Breakfast was from 6:30am to 10am, lunch 12:30 to 2pm and dinner 6 until 10pm. There was a Beach Grill that was open from 11:30am til 4:30pm which had some great food.
But this left gaps from 10 to 11:30am and 4:30 to 6pm and after 10pm with nowhere to get anything to eat.
There was a coffee shop onsite but was not part of the all inclusive and you paid extra for that, we've never seen that before.
More so, the night club was open from 11:30 to 2am and nothing available to eat if you were drinking late. Not really a good situation.
While the poor weather we experienced has nothing to do with the resort, the fact that the pool is unheated and the tiny "hot tub /juccuzi" was often closed for cleaning meant very little time in the water.
Speaking of water, we were without hot water for 2 days due to a water main break which meant no hot water in the entire resor.
