納什維爾西區雅樂軒飯店(Aloft Nashville West End)

First, I want to say that both women who assisted us, one with check-in and the other with check-out, were very helpful and professional! However, we will not be staying at this property again. Upon check-in we were charged an undisclosed parking fee of $39+tax to park our car on the property overnight. If we were to choose valet, it bumped up to $75. That was a bit of a shock, but after driving all day my daughter and I just wanted to call it a night. She was very excited to see the views from the rooftop, which online is well lit. We took the stairs (she isn't a fan of elevators) and were very concerned about blood on the sign in the stairwell leading to the 8th floor and then walking out on a dark patio area. We did search around for a light to turn on but were unable to find a way to light the area, so we retreated to our room. The room smelled strongly and had an ozone machine running in it. We laid on the bed a few minutes and my daughter began complaining of a headache the smell was so strong. A google search also revealed that you cannot be in the same room while an ozone machine is running :( The lady working the front desk was very sweet, apologized for the smell and the ozone machine that was "not supposed to be left in there", and put us in a new room. Unfortunately, we did not have hot water to shower with in the morning, and the grab-and-go breakfast was an offering of overpriced, disappointing choices.

The woman who checked us in was unfriendly and booked us into a hotel that wasn’t what we booked. We booked a king and we got a queen instead and then when we went to get it fixed they denied refunding us any money or fixing the problem. Overall the hotel was kind of scummy and the bartender was late to the bar which was quite possibly the only good feature of the hotel.

Honestly the rooms are huge. The room had a couch with a side area for guest or kids. The area is very walkable to music row and about a mile down the road to broadway bars.

Didn’t feel like an Aloft, or a Marriott property generally. Called ahead and very unfriendly. Glum. Same on site. Staff just not interested. And the property, layout, garage attachment is just plain weird. Aloft/Marriott needs to blow this place up and start from scratch. Also, when staff are this bad there’s always an on-site management/Leadership problem. Got to be.

Was accused of smoking in the room. Items were stolen by staff, other guests stated the same along with dirty sheets with blood stains . All of us complained none of us knew eachother . Was charged $250 for “spitting on the walls”. I cleaned the room put old towels by door along with garbage trying to be courteous and was treated like I don’t have morals. Never will stay at this place again

AC was broke and they did nothing to fix it. The card reader access in the elevator doesn’t even work, anyone off the streets can walk in and ride the elevator to guest room floors - super unsafe place to stay. Avoid at all cost.

Property is nice. Front desk staff is terrible. Valet and housekeeping were great.

The reviews for this hotel were extremely misleading. Upon arrival the lobby smells strongly of mold. The air is so thick it’s hard to inhale. The rooms did not have the same odor so I decided not to make a big deal. At 9am a tall man doing housekeeping tried to come into the room forcefully as if the room was not occupied. If the top lock would have not been used my privacy would have been invaded. To make matters worse As I gathered everything to leave I found how disgusting the room actually was. I stayed in the double bed suite room number 416. One of the beds had a massive brown stain as well as the wall in the bathroom. Immediately after leaving I contacted the third party my reservation was placed through. The manager agreed to check it out yet two days later still no return phone call. I even called directly to leave a message myself, still no response. If I am passing through Nashville again this will never be a choice to consider staying. After contacting ******* I am just continuously reminded of the hotels no refund policy regardless of the disgust I found. There is no protection of the consumer. My hard earned money can not be refunded because of a policy although the hotel did not hold up to their standards. ******* has lost a customer. I will absolutely take my complaints to corporate.
