Great location, excellent guest services. Room was clean and comfortable. Retaurant service was excellent, food was delicious, good customer service. We've statyed at the Bayfront Inn several times and always had a great experience. We go there for drinks whenever we're in the area.
I don't say this lightly, I would prefer not to go on vacation vs. staying here again. The person who checked us in was so kinda, and when we asked to have our room switched they were so quick to help out, but the hotel rooms and hallways were truly gross. We did not use the pool and missed the breakfast so I have no comment there. Prior to staying here, I didn't do much research. We are super familiar with the naples area and just needed a place to stay at for a night before our airbnb opened. I travel for work often and trust marriott and didn't think twice about booking a reliable Residence Inn. We got in pretty late, it must have been just before midnight. I point this out because I'm not sure if they were low on availability or something. The first room we were given had a unique scent of throw up upon opening the door. Like it was blatant. When my husband went into the bedroom, there were wet spots all over on the carpet and our gut just felt like the room was not properly cleaned. It really, really smelled. When we opened the crib for our son a bunch of cheerios fell out of the pack and play. It was that moment that I realized I had to be that person to ask for a different room. I really don't often do this but the smell of throw up was overwhelming and the floor was too wet to trust it. Honestly, it was really gross. I'm disappointed they'd even offer this room to someone. When we opened the door to the second room, the smell was overwhelmingly of ciggarettes. It's a nonsmoking hotel and room so clearly someone just broke the rules. They didn't have another crib so we just carried the cheerio crib to this room. We realized two of the garbages in the new room hadn't been emptied. At this point it was like 1AM and we just tried not to think about it and fell asleep. When we woke up we packed up our things and peaced out as quickly as we could. I share this experience because I always trust Marriott but this was BAD. We paid an insane amount of money for our one night (high season) and I left feeling violated. I know that probably sounds comical but I felt scammed. In summary, the check in guy was so kind. This isn't a knock on the workers. But the two rooms we experienced were flat out disgusting and not sanitary. I would not stay there ever again even if the entire stay was free.
We loved our stay at this hotel! The place was so clean, and the staff could not have been more accommodating! We got to see a great music duo group we love (Chasing Denver) and we enjoyed the music by the pool. The food was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a great location and the best staff waiting on you! We will be back for sure!
We've stayed at this property since it was first built and it was amazing back in the day. It's went downhill over the years. The hotel rooms are so-so and are definitely in need of some updating. The rooms are dark and dingy and some of the lighting in the rooms need to have bulbs replaced in the overhead vanity lights, etc. Updated and additional lighting throughout the rooms would be a plus! The wall paper was peeling in the bathrooms and the rooms were generally dark and dingy. The pillows are flat and horrible. The carpeting in the rooms had burn holes and dirty. The elevators are also dirty. The hotel has deodorizer machines plugged in all over the hallways to disperse an obnoxious deodorant spray to mask odors. The housekeeping staff talks very loudly in the hallways all day long. We never utilize housekeeping during our stays but asked for a few replacement towels and they seemed to be bothered by this. The breakfast buffet was always a disheveled mess and somewhat risky to say the least. The hard boiled eggs were in a communal dish as were the bread and pastry items and people were grabbing items with their hands. The toaster had metal tongs next to it to remove the toasted items, as the knobs were missing. I'm fairly sure that using metal tongs along with a toaster, isn't a great idea. We felt horrible for the one and only person working the breakfast area. This solo employee had to keep it organized and clean, as there were many guests that were absolute slobs that were hoarding massive amounts of food, and then throwing most of it in the overflowing trash cans. Perhaps it's difficult to keep up with a few of the low class guests that are messy, loud and disrespectful of the property. For the high price, it's really not worth staying here.
We have been at Belllasera a couple of times in the past but this was our first visit after some years and also the first visit after their renovation. Overall nothing really changed that much. The suites are still perfectly clean and extremely well kept. Kudos to the great housekeeping team! Noticeably the renovation was carried out a little bit awkward. You will see that they changed some of the furniture and carpets but not entirely everything and not consistently in every room. Some rooms still have parts of the old carpet or older kitchen tops. Noticeably the rates have gone up significantly, therefore the hotel seemed empty during the week. Unfortunately we had to switch rooms twice (therefore we had the chance to see 3 different rooms and noticing the differences in the room renovation). The first room had some really loud noise coming from the HVAC unit next to the bedroom whereas the second room was very close to the kitchen vent outlet of their restaurant. Since I am a light sleeper and we wanted to spend our afternoons on the terrace it bothered us. Staff was apologetic and helpful and finally upgraded us from a 2 to a 3 bedroom unit. Not that we needed the space (with only 2 guests) but the gesture was greatly appreciated. The final suite was flawless and we enjoyed our 7 nights here.
WWarrenME8786YTThis place is so amazing that it’s actually hard for me to know where to start with writing my review. When we first arrived, the valet greeted us and directed us to the front desk while they took care of our luggage. They even hand-delivered our belongings to our room immediately after we checked in. There were two people at the front desk, and they both had so much energy and kindness. They helped us a lot and were super positive and lovely. The grounds were beautiful and the pools relaxing. I’m telling you, they’ve truly thought of everything! From the moment we arrived until the time we left, it felt like a luxury vacation. I felt like we were back in time when resorts still cared about the visitor, understood the value of your time, appreciated that you chose to stay with them, and recognized the financial cost of being there.
AAndreA solid suite hotel near Naples. Could have stayed easily 1 night more.
The sofa bed we had to prepare ourselves, like usually in the US, although we informed the hotel upfront.
Breakfast we did not take, but it looked okayish.
By the time we arrived at the HIE in Naples we had been driving around for several hours looking for a place to stay after abruptly leaving another hotel due to safety concerns. The front desk clerk Jesus who greeted us must have sensed our energy and asked ”How is your night going so far?” All I could say was ”It has been a long night.” Jesus was so kind and gracious. He made sure all of our needs were met. I can't say enough kind things about him. That night he was literally our savior. The room was clean. The bed was so comfortable. We slept like babies. The daytime staff was very friendly and helpful. Our check out went smoothly. We highly recommend staying at the HIE in Naples.
Having traveled around Florida for a few weeks we chose to spend the last 3 days in Naples at this motel. Check in was smooth and efficient. Our room was clean and well maintained, Our tv didn’t work but when we reported it to reception it was swiftly replaced. My opinion is that the old fashioned bedspreads should be replaced with modern cleaner looking ones which would give the room a fresher look. Also the beds and pillows were past their best. We used the pool a few times and it was lovely but do agree that the loud music on the Saturday spoils the relaxed vibe. We did eat in both Harold’s place and the pizza restaurant and found them both to deliver excellent service, value for money and tasty food . Breakfast was really good with lovely ladies keeping it well stocked and even helping to make pancakes and waffles. All in all we really enjoyed our stay
I called to make a reservation, followed the front desk's instructions to the T, then showed up on the agreed upon date/time and there was no correspondence from the previous calls or voice mail I left so Raul gave my room away. I stayed there once before a month earlier and they did not honor the online price and charged my $30 more than the other residents. I hate to say this but the management is ******. Because the melatonin coloring is different than ALL of their guests (mostly illegals), they will overcharge and basically deny your reservation. DO NOT STAY in this rundown shanty of a hotel. Cockroaches, spiders and ants along with dirty sheets and their insistence of going into your room, invading the privacy of their guests seems to be the M.O. of these createns.
