皇冠大飯店(Crown Hotel)

Our group of 8 cyclists stayed two nights and were so welcomed by the staff that even a problem with one of the rooms didn't spoil the stay. Credit to manager Robbie who managed to find us somewhere secure to store all our bikes even though the hotel was mad busy over the bank holiday weekend, including a big wedding going on in the function room. Quirky and historic building, some nicely updated rooms but the 4 star review really reflects the fact that the customer service was second to none. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel and bar, we stayed 4 nights. Staff were all lovely, the room was clean and tidy - we were asked if we wanted it cleaned while we stayed which we declined, but we were told if we wanted/ needed anything or it cleaned just to let them know. The lady on breakfast was lovely, attentive, friendly and smiley and looked after us very well. The breakfast was great, we had a try of most of the cooked menu, from full English to scrambled eggs on toast, must admit the sausages were gorgeous, best hotel sausages I’ve had. We had a couple of evening meals, steak skewer was lovely! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Crown and in Nantwich itself, lovely get away.

A great place to stay with the fantastic character of the building. Great service, friendly people and the breakfast was lovely.

Tired rooms poor beds and bathrooms in need of a full refurbishment £26 for a £6.99 bottle of Pinot a bit OTT

The staff are very friendly and cater for my elderly mother’s special dietary requirements. Nothing is too much trouble and the food is cooked well. My only gripe is they have discontinued their chicken and chorizo skewers, so I have had to branch out and try something different.

I had the steak pie was amazing my sister had the lamb shanks she took some home say no more was amazing and the staff were so amazing I have Parkinson's and they catered for me will be coming back again

The Crown is a beautiful pub, but employee training would make it great. Having ordered a drink we sat down and took our coats off, thinking we’d order some food. However it was just too cold- we looked around and everyone sitting there were in puffer coats, scarfs and hats. I could see the manager was around but they failed to see that people were cold and didn’t put the fire on. Safe to say we didn’t order food. To be honest I was glad I didn’t order food as the table next to us ordered and the wrong food came of which I saw the manager say to the woman behind the bar, ‘ you put down the wrong order’ and she didn’t even care- this other guy waited 20 minutes for the correct food to come and by the time it came he then had to walk up to the manager to ask for a knife and fork. As I say, it really is a beautiful pub, but the staff definitely let it down this evening

Loads of character to the building. Room was nice and warm. Sky light in ceiling has a blind but the string to close it was broke so was quite light in the morning. Breakfast in the morning was great couldn’t fault that. Was perfect for us for the 1 night stay.

One night stay at the crown lovely hotel lovely room and all the staff are lovely and made us feel welcome, food great, thanks to sue as well, another great stay as always see you soon Steve and Michele Petryszyn
