The staff were absolutely fantastic could not do enough to help. Very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of on-site free parking. Room a good size but walls needed attention lots of dirty marks. Only enough towels for one person. Only two teas and two coffees in welcome tray. Bathroom ok but a little tired. Room not cleaned everyday should be cleaned everyday and not left for guest to ask for a clean. Stayed in a ground floor room for several nights but the noise from the upstairs corridor was disturbing could hear every footstep. Wi-fi was not working. Sleep ruined one night due to a couple of noisy families checking in in the early hours. On site pub expensive so had to eat at Sainsbury’s. Noticed a number of stains on carpets in room and corridors could do with a deep clean. Would I stay here again NO.

Very clean, tidy and fresh room. A great price for a late booking. The only fault was the lack of Air Conditioning but there was a large fan.

Friendly welcome, comfy bed, quiet room, good night's sleep, hot water. I would have welcomed a hand-held shower nozzle, so I didn't have to get my hair wet.

It’s very convenient and the staff very helpful. Loads of packing and a pub that services an evening meal. Clean but no restaurant so no breakfast. Has some water and porridge to buy. You need a car to stay here and yes the countryside is nearby and its beautiful

Such a great stay. Although the restaurant isn’t associated with the hotel the meal was very nice. The staff were able to tell us the best places to get breakfast. The rooms were very clean and asking for extra was no trouble at all. The whole experience was amazing. Thank you to Angie and Chris for all your help.

We have family in Nantwich and use the hotel a lot over the years for its convenience. However the last 3 trips have been challenging. The fire alarm was set off at about 1am in the morning due to a staff member charging their Vaper in the back office which caught alight and we had to evacuate. The next trip the room smelt of sick. Finally this time the room stank of smoke and there was not another room available when we complained. As were departing the next morning at 9am the fire alarm went off but fortunately we were leaving so do not know the reason. Your standards need to improve as we have stopped many times here and there have not been any major issues until the last 3 trips.

Very friendly welcome and efficient service from all staff. Great room, nice and quiet round the back of the hotel, with great views - very peaceful. Great restaurant connected - Peacock Inn. Easy walk into Nantwich. Great welcome, great food, great music - perfect ☺ Room was very clean, and located around the back of the hotel, so even quieter than expected! A**osphere in the restaurant was great, and the staff at both the restaurant and hotel were very friendly and welcoming, as usual ☺

A terrible nights sleep due to fire/smoke alarm directly over the bed. This was blinking constantly and therefore we had very little sleep. This had an impact on seeing the family we had come to see. We had reported this to reception. Hopefully they can sort this light.

Had the most comfortable stay while away on a business trip. Angi and Emily couldn’t have been more helpful during my time here. Great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do in the area. Room was clean and comfortable, would recommend to anyone visiting the area to stay here. A real home away from home.
