切斯特套房飯店(Chester Hotel and Suites)

So… This was an interesting choice…(NOT)!!! By the picture, it seamed ok, for work and short stay…. But NO! This is actually the first hotel I booked and paid, ok… with my discount 55usd/night, total 110usd, and total waist of money!! I came, I looked and I walked. I didn’t even take my bag in. Not ok area, no lights in the hall and the rest… no comments.

The location of the Apartments/Hotel is in a very safe place on Koinange street. The rooms are very spacious with a balcony. Amazingly, I couldn't hear any noise from outside when I was in the room. Good value for my money!!

I truly love staying at Chester House -it is my home away from home! The place is clean, staff is friendly, & professional & go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as perfect as you want it to be! CH is perfectly situated close to everything -highway, local transport, walking distance to all CBD places one needs -supermarkets, government/business offices, church, gym, clubs, restaurants etc you name it & Chester is close to it!

I have been staying at Chester House for now over 10 years whenever I visit Nairobi for business meetings. What I enjoyed most were their breakfast. It was rich in every way. Unfortunately the effects of Covid-19 led their in-house Bar & Restaurant (B & R) to close. Now they have outsourced Breakfast to two outside restaurants. For the down stairs' restaurant, their à la carte menu is never fulfilled: there is always something not available. A second cup of tea/coffee must be paid for separately. The other restaurant is closed on Sundays. Today, you can't have a late drink in the evening. The absence of an in-house B & R has made the place no longer as cosy as it used to be. If post-Covid 19 recovery has occurred, the in-house B & R should be revived. David Kampala, Uganda

真是太可惜了，我在那裡的時間很糟糕。我一直說，當您擁有這樣的酒店時，請確保您的員工也是 Upto per。我真的被前台辦公室的信仰和一個冒充經理的保安 nyatich 騷擾了..儘管我要求見經理這個保安安德魯大膽地關閉了我的房間......就像你應該認識的人一樣。這真的是真的很糟糕的經歷，我只是希望沒有人應該經歷過這樣的創傷......像蟑螂一樣對待客人但我們給你我們的錢至少可以說是可悲的。我希望總經理能夠處理他的工人和送他們去禮儀學校。你是如何在酒店業工作的，但你甚至不知道如何接待客人？？！在經歷了這些之後，我需要接受治療……上帝憐憫我可憐的靈魂。顯然我不是唯一受那三人擺佈的客人。

Location in the central business district gives easy access to business locations and major attractions. Well equipped and clean place. Good for both short and long stay. Art Cafe at ground floor offers good menu of multiple choices. For a tourist easy walk to the City Market for souvenirs.

Habíamos reservado dos noches en el hotel por Booking. Al llegar pagamos 99$ con la tarjeta de crédito. Nada más subir a la habitación 901 nos encontramos muchísimas crías de cucaracha tanto en el baño como en la cocina. Ante nuestra reclamación en recepción nos ofrecen otra habitación, la 801. Esta también estaba llena de crías de cucarachas. Reclamamos a la recepcionista nuestro dinero y nos dicen que hasta el día siguiente no pueden devolverlo. Al volver al hotel a la mañana siguiente nos dicen que la devolución tiene que ser en chelines kenianos y que la comisión por pagar con tarjeta es del 3% por lo que al cambio, perdemos 7$. Inaceptable y repugnante.
