棋盤大道假日亭(Holiday Pavilion Resort on the Boardwalk)

The only issue I had really was that there was a dead waterbug on the floor as we walked in. Other than that, all was decent.

I booked a stay for myself and my wife. Not knowing the area I wanted to be close to the boardwalk. The location is about the only thing the Hotel/Motel had going. The fridge was broken and leaked water all over the kitchen floor area our entire stay. The coffee maker was broke. The curtains facing the front walkway would not stay shut so anybody walking by could look into our room.( we improvised by using hair alligator clips) There was roaches and other insects crawling inside the room so we had to check all our luggage packing at the room and unpacking back at home very intently.Wristbands were given for the pool area but nobody was ever checked as people came and went who may or may not have been staying in the hotel. We asked for extra coat hangers and were told house keeping would bring them but never received them over the 4 day stay. Drink machines are were located on every odd level and the ice machine is only located on the 4th and 5th floor which was not communicated by the front desk I had to ask security.

The Oceanview was immaculate and the Jacuzzi was like no other, it was very inviting and comforting......

Hard to find entrance to hotel. Registration not on ground floor. Load and unload area was limited to few vehicles at a time. Rooms need undated, no connections to charge phones or other portables. Coffee in room not good. No extra bedcovering. Parking across a busy street not suitable for older people. Water good and hot, plenty of towels.

The location was right in the area where there's a lot to do. The room could use some updates, but it was clean and comfortable. The view from our balcony was awesome! Would definitely book again.

Hotel was very nice, staff was somewhat helpful. Myrtle Beach City needs to do something to help the homeless people, makes the stay a bit uncomfortable. Amazing location if that's what you're looking for.

Only complaint is thin walls. You can hear everything outside. We did get a managers upgrade so that was very nice

Hotel was great for our vacation! There were no issues with the room, the staff was nice, and this hotel has many amenities.

It was very convenient to the boardwalk. Microwave was ancient and dirty but everything else was good.
