馬萊卡海灘度假村

Malaika Beach Resort is a more of a money oriented resort... first they charge entrance fee on weekends even in evening time, and entrance fee is not claimed on the bill. This is not right. if entrace fee is charged then must be claimed in the bill. On 18th August 2024 they had a Beer Show at the garden near the entrace we could not bear the BEATS and SOUNDS, we couldnt finish our drinks and had to leave. Imagine the residents who pay $150++ per room with these noise.

My family, including 2 children, stayed at this hotel before leaving on safari. We arrived at 10PM to music with very loud bass playing (the kind you can feel all through your body). At 3:30AM, after unsuccessfully trying to block it out with noice canceling headphones, we called the front desk to ask what time the music would stop playing. The music was so loud we could not hear the person speaking on the phone and had to ask them to talk louder. They informed us that the music stops playing at 7AM. We voiced our disappointment and they said they would ask it to be turned down, but it wasn’t. We were not informed about the all night music when booking or when checking in. Had we known we would have stayed somewhere else as it led to a very rough start to the safari.

Lovely view of the Lake Victoria, beautiful rainy weather... soft and gentle... light sunshine.. Amazing climate to carry out the training for Team Building and Business Planning. Delicious food and snack to spice up the stay and to excite the body.

Stayed here both before and after a safari and before work in the region. Very large if somewhat antiquated rooms. A/C in the two rooms I stayed in was a bit weak. Nice views from most rooms and a very nice pool area. I liked how the hotel is built on and around the rock formations. Staff is very nice and timely an friendly airport transportation is a plus. Food is decent but not great, but again staff in restaurants provide good friendly service.

Check-in was quick, and the staff greeted me with a warm welcome, which made me feel right at home. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, and I will definitely return. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay

Food is good and great value for money, Breakfast spread is amazing, and Restaurant food is excellent. Overall experience Hotel was exceptional,best hotel in town , staff are friendly, best hotel in mwanza, lake view from the room is superb
