Accom was located close to town for convenience. Was quiet. Very outdated & extremely basic. Room very dark -poor lighting. Mattress very uncomfortable.

One night, not cheap at $149, but our room did not have internet service as advertised. When we asked about another room, our request was refused because our ‘toilet had been used and couldn’t be cleaned’ before the next day. 😱 Proprietor wanted to save the ‘spare’ room ‘for walk-ins’ !

Very tired establishment, the amount of light displayed in the online photos is not a true reflection.. room was quite dark and lacked strong lighting. Shower had mould and bed not very comfortable. Kettle and toaster not as good condition as shown online. Quiet location, walkable to town and some tourist attractions. . We love Beechworth but would look for somewhere else to stay when returning.

The location is great, everything is in walking distance. Easy check in and out. Two things which disappointed me. The bathroom needs a massive update. The hot water is unreliable and you can heat every tap run in every neighbouring room through the plumbing. The bed and pillows were hard as rocks. The worst nights sleep, waking up stiff and sore.

The motor inn is excellently located on town, a short walk to everything. The owner/manager Brian is welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. An easy, comfortable stay.

We rented 2 rooms for one night. The owner, Brian, made an unauthorised charge to my credit card the next morning for $15. When I rang to enquire he said a roll of toilet paper was missing. I have no need for toilet paper and did not take it. He said he would only refund the $15 he charge to my cc without basis if I sent a roll of toilet paper to him. He then hung up. Worst customer service I have had in decades. Avoid this place and man at all costs!

Beautiful and quiet. I left my watch in the room. The cleaning staff found it. Great. Start to the new year.

Would of liked the room cleaned each day like they said but apart from that very pleased
