You may encounter desert ants, mice, coyotes, or if you’re lucky a bobcat. ◦ Authorized early check-in and late check-out are available at $50 per hour ◦ Additionally, any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee ◦ Items left behind will incur a minimum return shipping fee of $50, depending on the shipping address ◦ RULES: Noise ordinance: Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. No external speakers allowed. Any noise related discrepancies will result in at least a $1000 fine. ◦ SMOKING POLICY No smoking inside the house or within 10ft. Smoke residue will result in excessive cleaning fees ◦ Restricted Areas: Any locked closet or room is restricted. If forcibly entered you could be held liable for any unaccounted for item. ◦ Hot Tub/Pool: Hot Tub Use: Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it’s been serviced, as chemical levels are temporarily elevated. We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times. Please rinse off any oils, lotions, or substances before entering the spa, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration. No drinking in the hot tub, please. Be sure to keep the cover on when not in use, especially since we're in the desert and debris can easily get into the water. Grace is a musician, a gourmet cook, a trekker, a film finance executive, has an eye for design and loves creating spaces that mix nordic design with one-of-a-kind, vintage touches. Zach is a backpacker, a woodworker, an engineer, a real estate lawyer, sings like Marc Cohn and has a knack for building things with his hands. Michelle is a social entrepreneur, a nature lover, a storyteller, a pianist, and an inspirer of dreams. We hope we get to share our space and our hygge with you! The dining room table and bar table can accommodate up to 10 people. No more than 10 people may spend the night on the property without written permission. You will need a car, but taxis and Ubers are available as well. the property manager is on standby at all times for anything you need. Keep the space around the hot tub clear of flammable materials. Wood-Burning Pizza Oven: Located in the outdoor kitchen. Use caution, especially during high winds. Always place the oven door in front of the opening, allowing only a small gap for airflow. Fully close the door once the fire is out. Never leave the fire unattended. Follow all safety instructions provided by the host. Fire Extinguishers: Located below the pizza oven. Guests should locate them upon arrival. In case of fire, contact emergency services immediately. ADDITIONAL HOUSE RULES & SAFETY GUIDELINES Use of Amenities: Guests use the cowboy tub, hot tub, and other amenities at their own risk and must follow all safety instructions. Fire Safety: Only use natural fire-starting materials (unbleached paper, wood) provided on-site. No fire starters or accelerants allowed. Maintain proper ventilation when using the wood-fired stove. Fires must be monitored at all times. Safety Cover: The cowboy tub has a safety cover. It must be used when the tub is not in use to prevent accidents. Noise Ordinance: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM. Keep outdoor noise low and close windows/doors if inside noise is excessive. Theater Room: The theater room is not a sleeping area and should not be used as one. Avoid touching or leaning on walls/ceilings to prevent damage. Furniture: Do not move any furniture. Unapproved furniture movement may result in additional charges. Pizza Oven Use: Guests assume all risks and must follow all provided safety instructions. The host is not liable for injuries or damages caused by misuse. There's plenty to do outside, from taking a dip in the pool, cozying up near the fire pit, or soaking up in the hot tub gazing up at the starry night sky. POOL HEATING is available for an extra charge. - 250 first day - 150 second day - 100 day after that. ◦ THINGS TO NOTE: Paved Roads/Dirt Roads: No dirt roads. Cell phone coverage: Yes cell phone service ◦ Wildlife: this is the rural desert and we share the space with the wildlife.
