查爾斯頓普萊森特山Candlewood Suites飯店(Candlewood Suites Charleston – MT. Pleasant)

Very smooth check in, the check in staff is friendly and the check in was fast. The hotel room is like a studio apar**ent room with kitchenette and big refrigerator. We enjoyed our stay there.

I booked the room as I knew I would be arriving very late at night/ early in the morning as I was driving my mother to be hospitalized in Charleston. The description says free limited onsite parking and free overflow parking. What they fail to tell you is that you'll be parking across the street in a Quality Inn parking lot. When I arrived, I had to find parking in the "overflow" while the Quality Inn lot was covered in cops with their lights on. Parking in that lot and walking across the street at 4 am was HIGHLY unsafe and not properly advertised! I also requested a late checkout as I arrived at 4 am and was told a clerk would be with me momentarily. They never responded. Don't waste your money here. The hilton a few doors down might be 30 bucks more a night, but WELL WORTH IT! When I reached out to Candlewood Suites to tell them about my experience, they didn't seem to care. Skip this property or just save the money and stay at the Quality Inn... you'll be parking ther anyway. Safer distance to your room.

Great staff, super clean and nicely updated rooms. Very close to the Ravenel bridge for easy access to the historic district The only thing we could have used was a luggage rack or somewhere to sit suitcase, would definitely stay there again.

Booked a suite and then after the transaction took place I received an email letting me know the pool was closed. July 6th 90 degrees and the pool not available. 2nd issue….no ice machine. Went to the front desk asking for ice and was told to walk across the street to the Quality Inn for ice. Totally inconvenient for people staying at the Candlewood. Will never stay at one of their properties again. My money should be refunded for this lousy experience!!!!!!

I was disappointed that the following issues were not on the website: Small parking lot so overflow parking lot is across the street. One night it was dark and rainy and I had to walk. The pool is closed permanently No Breakfast

We booked a standard 2 bedroom suite and were given a suite for people with special needs. The bathroom had a roll-in shower that had no shower door and terrible drainage. The entire bathroom floor was soaking wet for the entire trip. The bedroom with that bathroom in it had no air conditioning unit so while one bedroom and the common room were comfortable, that second bedroom was uncomfortably hot and humid. That bedroom also only had a bedside table on one side of the bed for some inexplicable reason. That bedroom had a sliding farmhouse door both for the en suite bathroom and for the bedroom itself. These doors could not be completely closed and were unable to be locked at all. This made for some uncomfortable lack of privacy situations. When we asked to switch to another suite we were told that the hotel was fully booked. All in all it was a truly uncomfortable experience. Given that we booked the hotel well in advance, and had a larger party staying in the room, you would think they could have arranged for us to stay in a more standard 2 bedroom suite that would have been more comfortable.

Everyone was very nice, from the desk, to those who provided cleaning services. Rooms were sparkling clean. No problem getting in and out of room. Free laundry. Also GREAT coffee.

The first room they gave me, wasnt cleaned... bed un-made and dirty glasses on counter.. They had to downsize me to a queen size bed room that was clean.. Front desk lady was very nice.

Property was very nice and convenient to downtown Charleston. Great bed and helpful staff. Room had one office chair and no other chair. Bed was high off the floor so it was awkward for two people to eat or watch TV in the evening. Room was otherwise fine.
