We had a fabulous 2 night stay during Hurricane Helene. Due to the weather we were unable to use the pool and hot tub. Hosts Margie and Melissa are wonderful, breakfast was superb. There was an easy walking path to the charming town of Mount Dora.

Wonderful B&B, host is also a great person to chat with, we enjoyed our stay, but for 2 things. Minimal hot water in the shower and construction early Monday morning (our day of departure) Great location, quick stroll to downtown, delicious breakfast, and clean!

Wonderful location within walking distance of Mt. Dora, but driving is probably a little safer. Charming victorian-style decor. Originally built as a B&B rather than a house converted. That is important when it comes water pressure for showers, toilets, etc. B&B has guest rooms on the second and third floors. Proprietress and her daughter run the place and both reside on site. They are very friendly and welcoming and work hard to ensure guests are comfortable. Nice pool area. Rooms are also Victorian decor and comfortable and very clean. We had breakfast two mornings; both days were fresh fruit with a homemade nut bread, a form of eggs and a protein. All were tasty. They were able to provide info about the Mt. Dora area and things to do during our short stay. Beautiful gardens.

We had a wonderful time at Heron Cay. Marge and her staff were fantastic. The homemade breakfasts were great. Their recommendations of things to do and places to eat were outstanding. I would highly recommend staying at Heron Cay on your next visit to Mt. Dora.

The owner and her daughter are awesome! The breakfast was great and different each morning and they are extremely friendly and make sure you have what you need and are having a great experience. Slept well and super close to everything.

My wife and I did a 2 night stay for birthday weekend and we absolutely loved this place. Marji and her daughter's hospitality was fantastic. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful! You must try their fresh baked nut bread! Just try not to eat too much before the delicious main course because it us soo delicious! The atmosphere is very cozy, clean, and quiet. The location is close to down town to where my wife and I walked everyday. Definitely recommend a stay here. It felt like home away from home!
