From the moment we arrived at the Masterpiece Hotel, we knew we were in for a treat. Our room boasted a stunning view, and it was the perfect backdrop for relaxing after a day of exploring Morro Bay. The customer support was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff always willing to go the extra mile. Speaking of treats, the breakfast was a delightful surprise. Fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit, and the amazing make-your-own waffle station had us fueled up and ready to take on the day. The waffles were truly a highlight - fluffy, crispy, and customizable with an array of toppings. It was a fun and delicious way to start the morning. Beyond the view, breakfast, and customer service, the overall experience at the Masterpiece Hotel was awesome. The room was clean and comfortable, the public spaces were inviting, and the location was perfect for walking to restaurants, shops, and the beach. We truly felt we were staying in a masterpiece itself! If you're looking for a beautiful and comfortable place to stay in Morro Bay, look no further than the Masterpiece Hotel. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

We were looking forward to an overnight stay-cation in Morro Bay and Masterpiece Hotel did not disappoint. Thought not near the water, the location was quiet and very clean. We were pleased to see extra electric outlets for charging, which is so necessary with the multiple electronic devices we carry these days. In particular, the front desk was extremely helpful with everything that we asked for. The continental breakfast also included fresh made waffles, good coffee, fresh fruit selection and yogurt. It was more than the description implied. The bed was comfortable and the towels soft. It looks like the property has been updated and made for a comfortable stay. Not luxury bet well worth the cost. Thank you to the staff and definitely recommend for the price, location and good clean hotel.

Stay away from room 104!!! It's a nightmare!! The room is literally next to the breakfast room, so get ready to wake up at 7 am by all the noises from kids in the breakfast room.. at night time you won't be able to sleep because of the noisy guests upstairs!! Stay away!

I can't believe I've been coming to Morro Bay all this time and haven't noticed this hotel. It's cute, compact, classic California adobe Art Deco vibe, and even has a pool and hot tub downstairs as well as the standard waffles and oatmeal breakfast included. Rooms are super cute, our balcony looked over the bay and the epic sunsets. Clean parking lot that even has windshield squeegees for your car. Unbelievably highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel, great customer service. We stayed in the jacuzzi room. Room was comfy, jets didn't work, door card reader didn't work well and dining table was wobbly, room did get a bid muggy, no ac, but overall a nice place. close to the beach.

Pas de clim. Chauffage à fond dans la chambre impossible à régler. Dommage

The young lady at the front desk has been extremely nice the few times I’ve stayed here. She went above and beyond to make sure my stay was pleasant and I am sure she treats all guests the same.

All of the staff is so kind! the breakfast was great and the service was even better. definitely would stay again!
