博偉城堡飯店(Bovey Castle)

It is quite rare to be met with so much enthusiasm and friendliness from each and every member of staff during our stay. The hotel is in a lovely settling and oozes atmosphere and luxury. We particularly loved the pool where we could relax undisturbed. We had dinner in both restaurants and enjoyed the food (and service) very much. All in all, every single aspect of our stay is rated 5 star; a superb experience!

Our recent experience with Bovey Castle was deeply disappointing. We had our reservation cancelled abruptly because we were bringing our cat, despite having no such issues in the past. The Deputy General Manager's handling of the situation lacked any personal communication or courtesy, leaving us feeling utterly disregarded as guests. This incident raises serious concerns about the hotel's customer service. As a result, l urge fellow cat lovers and pet owners to reconsider patronizing this hotel. It's crucial to support establishments that value all their guests, including those with furry companions.

Very nice hotel with lots of good activities. The food was good and the hotel itself very nice. The only comments I would make was the service was pretty terrible in the bar and lounge area, slow not too friendly and I had to ask 3 times where my order was, no real apology. The spa is nice but the pool area very dated.

It is a wonderful place and so relaxing and the energy is wonderful. All the staff are so lovely and helpful making the stay even better. The food and the room were fantastic.

The staff were fantastic from the front desk to restaurant service. They have it right.

Fantastic. Amazing restaurant. Rooms are modern but castle is period and incredible on the first floor.

The staff - every one of them - were unbelievably friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We’ve stayed at Bovey before so know how breathtaking, beautiful and serene it is -oozing with charm and class. But it is the staff who make stays memorable, The receptionists, waiting staff - everyone contributed hugely to an enjoyable stay.
