Un Posto bellissimo! Proprietari gentilissimi. Colazione top. Il giardino un posto incantato pieno di piante e angolini dove rilassarsi. . La camera molto grande e curatissima. A piedi si arriva in paese senza problemi. Da tornare sicuramente!

Fantastico boutique hotel a conduzione familiare, sito in una zona tranquillissima a pochi passi dal centro di Montepulciano,poche camere in un ambiente curato in tutti i dettagli, i proprietari persone squisite,camere bellissime,colazione fantastica,ero in moto,mi hanno messo a disposizione il garage ,anche volendo non riesco a trovare un difetto, torneremo sicuramente

Hotel molto curato e appena fuori dal centro storico, il che permette una notevole tranquillità. Il giardino che circonda l’hotel è molto in ordine e piacevole. Camera pulita e dotata di ogni comfort. Offre una colazione sia dolce che salata. Consigliato.

Ambiente molto tranquillo, buona colazione, gentilissimi i proprietari che si occupano di tutto…pulizia impeccabile , 5 minuti a piedi in salita per prendere l’autobus che ti porta comodamente in piazza grande. Lo consiglio!

Very nice boutique B&B located just outside Montepulciano. Rooms are nicely appointed and quite. Family business and they are very friendly and service oriented. The family home is adjacent to the building housing rooms and the garden is beautiful! the walk to Montepulciano is a uphill for about 10 minutes but after a few times you get used to it. Besides Montepulciano itself is all uphill so its good training for the walking in the city.

We are traveling on a 9 month trip and this is the best place we have stayed yet. The host family is delightful, the room and property are impeccable and breakfast was delicious. We were thrilled with the Il Rondo.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Montepulciano. It is just outside the walls and you are in a country setting. Close by there is a full size grocery store with many gluten-free options. The service is excellent and the place is beautiful with a lovely garden. At this quality it is a very low cost and I would definitely come back again.

We spent 10 days here in mid-May at the end of our 5 weeks in Italy. We had heard raving reviews about ll Rondo through a work acquaintance of our daughter’s, and we are so glad we took their advice! Nicolo, along with his parents (both of whom speak very little English) were some of the hardest working people we have ever seen! As has been mentioned by others, the gardens are phenomenal. My wife and I pride ourselves on our yard but they put us to shame. After serving breakfast, mom and dad were literally working outside all day and into the evening, and it shows. Be sure to allow some time to sit and relax in the garden with your itinerary and/or a glass of wine. We first stayed in the garden bedroom and then moved into one of the 2-bedroom suites when our daughter and fiance joined us, where we had our own living room. We can certainly say that all 3 bedrooms that we had access to over our time there were clean, roomy with plenty of storage, decorated beautifully, and very comfortable. The breakfast selection was by far the best of the 3 B&Bs we stayed at in Italy. The service was also wonderful! Nicolo’s suggestions on places to go were perfect, and he made our dinner reservations also. This is a very central location for driving throughout Tuscany and some of Umbria. Our first day going into the old town of Montepulciano we purchased bus tickets to the top and back. We never used the return ticket and never purchased any others. I am 72 and my wife is 65, and the walk up the hill was no problem. Making the leisurely walk up and down all the streets of the town is how we saw the many sights, many of which are not at the top anyway. We would definitely stay here again and recommend using it as a home base to explore Tuscany. If you only stay here 1 or 2 nights, you will wish you stayed longer!
