蘭德葡萄園飯店(L'And Vineyards)

Espectacular hotel en lugar idílico. Instalaciones fantásticas, super spa, piscina interior, restaurante de algo standing….tiene todo. Mi único pero es que a pesar de estar muy enfocado en el disfrute al aire libre si te pilla un día con lluvia vendría bien tener un gimnasio para estirar las piernas.

Abaixo das expectativas e dos standars para este tipo de hotel. Solicitámos o serviço de acender a lareira e ninguém o fez... O autoclismo do WC tinha um problema e ninguém sabia resolver....

SOBERBO. Ambiente, decoração, suite incríveis e uma arquitectura extraordinária. Adoramos tudo mesmo. Toda a equpa muito profissional . Parabéns a todos. Um conceito único e excelente. Tudo é maravilhoso e muito lindo! O atendimento do staff de modo geral é excelente! Todos muito cordiais e atenciosos, nós gostamos bastante! O pequeno almoço é delicioso, diversas opções de pão, sumos naturais, ovos, bolos, mel e frutas….. A localização é ótima. Os quartos são amplos e muito limpos. Só tenho elogios a fazer a todos que lá trabalham. Obrigado e sucesso.

Hotel veramente di altissima qualità. Iniziando dalla struttura, gran gusto architettonico, suite di grandi dimensioni ed arredate in stile essenziale ma di gran pregio. Le zone comuni sono splendide, la sala colazione interna da vista sul parco e lago con una vista davvero squisita. Servizio: impeccabile e davvero disponibili. Nonostante la cucina chiuda alle 22.00 mi hanno fatto trovare la cena pronta, calda appena arrivato in hotel (orario di arrivo circa 22.15) Colazione ei gran pregio, senza inutili fronzoli ma di ottima qualità.

We stayed at L'AND in 2014 when it was only a couple of years old. We thought we'd go back for a few days again this year. Unfortunately I neglected to read the TA reviews before booking. We were very disappointed. We had the same room type we had previously (a skyview suite) which is a really nice room. Private and spacious. However it looked as if absolutely nothing had been done to it since it was built. The microwave didn't work, bulbs were burned out, paint chipped, furniture worn, etc. etc. At the same time there is a lot of active construction going on to build even more accommodation units. Maybe they should look at upgrading the existing before embarking on new ones. From a staff perspective, the front desk/concierge staff were outstanding, as was the sommelier. The poor housekeepers were so overworked one even tried to provide turndown service at 9:45 pm when we were already in bed. We felt so sorry for her. The food and beverage operations were either badly understaffed (Viajante at the Pool) or disorganized and disinterested in the dining room. Food quality ranged from poor at breakfast to acceptable at dinner. This is compounded by the fact that prices are at a Michelin Star level or beyond. The room service charge alone is $22 CDN. Outrageous. We understand the global labour issues, but other five stars have figured it out. We won't return until the owners hire professional hotel operators.

É a quinta ou sexta vez que vimos ao Land e adoramos. Não há melhor para relaxar e descansar. Desta vez até nadámos no lago. A villa é do mais confortável e elegante que há. Infelizmente pouco amáveis com os miúdos na piscina interior e desagradados com a sugestão da gratificação

Suite ampia e perfetta in ogni dettaglio, spazi comuni molto accoglienti, arredamenti top. Ristorante ottimo, colazione super. Last but not least: se venite per assaggiare vini, non resterete certo delusi. Rossi di grande personalità e struttura. Complimenti

The hotel has a lot of potential, like the architecture and surroundings, however the generalized lack of empathy and professionalism by the staff ruins it in our opinion. Case in point: on check out, I asked to be invoiced under my name and company. “Mr C” said the invoice could be under my company name but would also need to reference my wife’s name instead of mine, as the booking was made by her. This was of no use for me, so I asked whether there was a way around this issue, as this has happened for us before at other hotels and they were easily able to accommodate the change. The answer was no – the software had recorded everything under my wife’s name. I then joked that ok, but maybe they should consider changing their software, to which he insisted that the software was doing what it was supposed to. So: 1) the staff was unable to put himself in my shoes and understand this was an impactful situation; 2) he was unable to escalate to management to find a solution; 3) not only did he not understand this was a reasonable request (attended to at other hotels), he insisted on making a point that everything was correct (hence I was incorrect); 4) total lack of empathy and professionalism. In the end he should have just said “sorry that we cannot accommodate your needs”. This was just an example. In the restaurant, there was just one person we found friendly – the sommelier, fantastic man. It’s really as if no one cares about their guests. Other notable exceptions: the girl that checked us in and the hotel director, both very friendly. Finishing the list of “cons”, we were a bit surprised there was construction going on near our suite (11) both on Saturday and Sunday. Not what we expected as a tranquil place to relax. To try to finish with a positive note, we liked the architecture and surroundings which, while tired here and there, still retain their charm. The suite was comfortable and the upgrade to a 2 bedroom was a nice touch. As were the gratuities like wine bottle, cookies, flowers, and honey. Breakfast was good, and so was the food at the restaurant. But in the end, none of this matters when your guests leave with bad memories and not wishing to return.
