At check in, they told me the room had maintenance issues and placed us in a room that could not accommodate 4. (We had booked a double queen.) I asked for another option and was told it was the last room left in the hotel. I understand things happen but when I asked for a cot, a room in a nearby hotel, or any other room option the attendant made no attempt to solve the issue. Instead, acted as if it was my problem to solve, not his. We drove 4 hrs to come to the game and would have appreciated at the very least, a call on the way in, alerting us to the situation so I could have made alternate arrangements or maybe even a reduction in room cost?!?!?. This is not the level of service I have come to expect from Hyatt Place stays.
