菲斯特飯店(The Pfister Hotel)

I have never stayed at the Pfister on Christmas Eve. While I love this place and have stayed here many times in the past, I am disappointed today! Took 40 minutes to check in! One person checking people in at 3pm. I shared this with the supervisor and she said she agreed with me and would bring it to someone’s attention. Upon checking in- I was informed my room wasn’t ready. I needed to change clothes- that did not happen at the Pfister. I checked in after 10pm because of commitments on Christmas Eve. I’m done writing- but there are other concerns with my room.

We stay here 3-4 times a year and this will be our last. It was my wife and 2 kids. We satayed here 2 weeks ago with 2 rooms for a total of 450$ and both rooms were newer and comfortable beds. This stay I did a king room that had the king bed and a pull out couch. Room was 560$ plus parking so 600$ for 1 night. The room has no way been updated since the 80s. Bed completely ******. Pull out couch appeared to be from a 70s porn shoot. I promise I could of gotten a better room in the ghetto for 80$. The bed was so bad we got up and left at 3am. No one could sleep. When we checked in and they told me to use the first elevator I knew we were in trouble. This happened 1 other time. Not sure why when you stay in the oldest dumpiest part of the hotel they charge you almost 3 times more. I could of done 2 rooms again and saved money. I was expecting for 560$ a very nice room. The lobby and the top bar are super nice. I would compliment them areas. I have always recommended this place as it’s a great location and all but most people that I have recommended I think were put in this area as they have said same thing. Great lobby and bars. Their rooms were trash. There are a lot of very nice hotels in this area. They have screwed me for the final time as we left after 4 hours of sleeping.

The staff was super friendly. The rooms were large, clean and very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed for an event at Fiserv Forum and it was in walking distance.

Love the Pfister but this time was a bad experience. Maybe some unfortunate luck with heating and cooling unit in the room not working. And being told room was ready so we came and then waited over an hour for room to get cleaned. We will probably be back, but not anytime soon.

The reviews I read rated this 10/10 and I so wanted to have that same experience and for the most part I did. My husband and I stayed and loved the hotel overall. We used all of the amenities including the wellness spa and the loyalty lounge and found everything exceptional. Our dismay was in the room itself. We had the most uncomfortable bed ever and had trouble sleeping both nights of our stay. we also had requested housekeeping services and did not receive them. These both keep me from giving 5 stars for my review. If you have not visited this property I do highly recommend this experience

We had heating issue. Room super hot. Called desk. Within minutes maintenance guy came fixed it. Open window slightly and gave us coupons for coffee. Very nice. Luxurious historic hotel. Just beautiful. Mason St. Grill. Excellent

Great location and lovely, historic hotel! Could use additional bar seating in both bars, but overall a great hotel!

The Pfister never disappoints. It is a beautiful and historical place with an excellent restaurant (Mason Street Grill). Suite was perfect for out night stay.

The hotel was immaculate! It feels so grand, they even gave us a complimentary glass of champagne at check-in. They also gave the kids a book and orange juice in "fancy" glasses at check-in. The staff was exceptional - all very very nice. The entire hotel was so clean from the rooms, to the pool, to the bars and restaurants - all very nicely kept up! Cannot wait to go back!
