生態城市飯店(Biocity)

호텔이 상당히 깨끗하고 현대적입니다. 크지 않지만 오래된 호텔이 아니라 호텔안은 매우 정갈하고 침대도 깨끗하고 잘 정돈되어있고 조용합니다. 직원들도 친절하여 편하게 머물다 갑니다. 밀라노에 오면 이 호텔에 또 머무를것 같습니다.

Wir hatten drei Übernachtungen in diesem angenehmen Hotel und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Hier stimmt einfach alles: der Preis,das Ambiente,die sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiter. Die Betten waren superbequem,das Bad neu und fast luxuriös,ein kleiner Balkon rundete das Zimmer ab. Für 14 Euro ein feines Frühstück mit selbstgebackenen Schokoladenkuchen. Und die Lage ist sehr gut. Eine ruhige Strasse ( wir konnten mit offenem Fenster schlafen),ein Supermarkt ein paar Häuser weiter,ein kurzer Weg zur Metro und von dort in 5 schnellen Stationen zum Duomo.

Kleines und feines Hotel an perfekter Lage. Max. 15 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Milano Centrale entfernt in ruhiger Seitenstrasse. Grosszügiges Zimmer mit grossem Bad. Sehr sauber. Freundlicher Empfang, freundliches Personal beim Frühstücksbuffet. Gutes WLAN. Bio wird gelebt und ist nicht nur Werbegag. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes, sauberes kleines Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Frühstück klein aber lecker, für einen Morgen völlig ausreichend. Achtung nur zwei Parkplätze - rechtzeitig reservieren. Diese sind dafür sogar umzäunt. Bett, die Madratze etwas hart aber das Zimmer und Bad war sehr sauber. Angenehme Zimmergrösse. Wir buchten unkompliziert direkt über das Hotel. Nächste Metro : Sondrio Metro - Aus dem Hotel alles geradeaus, bis zur ersten kreuzung, dann links - bis zur Metro auf der gegenüberliegenden Strassenseite. 5-10min Laufzeit.

This location is quite a distance from the major sites, we ended up taking a taxi each day. Walking from the train station to the hotel seemed a bit sketchy. Unfortunately we were assigned room 2, right off the lobby and noisy. One night a guest in the room next door became very upset about something at 2:30am and spend about 30 minutes yelling at the front desk clerk. While I felt bad for the clerk I could understand the guest's frustration, although I couldn't understand what he was saying due to a language difference. The room lacked airflow and we weren't comfortable opening windows on the ground floor. After a couple nights when we complained about the airflow and temperate we learned that the air unit was turned off (we didn't turn it off, so I assume it was turned off when we arrived). The stuffiness and lack of airflow was better once the unit was on, but still not great. There is a neighborhood bar that had fairly loud music but it seemed to end by 11pm. On the plus side, the room was large and there is a nice corner cafe across the street to grab coffee and a pastry. If you decide to stay here, insist on not being in one of the rooms right off the hotel lobby. I admit we didn't ask for a room change, so I can't speak to the willingness to change rooms if dissatisfied. The hotels website really makes everything look a bit better than what we experienced.

Excellent location. Close to the Central Station - perfect for a refreshing 7 minutes' walk. Very clean, friendly staff and cozy. Definitely a place to stay with a decent budget in central Milan. When we arrived, it was late at night - 3 am still we were received with warm and helpful advice how to get around.

This hotel would have been ok for less money but I was surprised at how much I paid versus what I got. The area is not very happening - the metro is an 8 minute walk away though so it's pretty easy to get around. The few restaurants around were definitely not my top pick of where to eat. The train station is about a 15 minute walk away (and pro tip the food court there is amazing). The room itself has all the basics and it's clean so no major complaints. However sound insulation was very poor - I had sleep earpods with me so it wasn't a big deal but for a longer stay it would have been a dealbreaker. It is a small hotel so you could get lucky with all the guests settling down at the same time as you but my first night there were couples having a loud conversation at 1am that I could hear perfectly well. The pillows (and quality of things like sheets, towels) was not very good. The other issue was that they use some kind of very cheap cleaner for everything so it constantly smells like straight up bleach which is not pleasant. Amenities were pretty basic but they did have a mini fridge and kettle. Although for the kettle they provided plastic cups that did not get replaced (neither did they replace the coffee and tea bags but its ok cuz I bring my own) so I had to keep going down to reception to get new ones. Also I think they reused my shower cap instead of providing me a new one because it was wet and smelled like vinegar. The common areas (courtyard in the pics) were mostly closed to guests unless you paid for breakfast.

L'albergo si trova in ottima posizione, a circa dieci minuti a piedi dalla Stazione Centrale. Il personale è molto cortese e accogliente. Le stanze sono ampie e ben strutturate, con un bagno molto grande con doccia (grande anche quella). I letti estremamente comodi e i cuscini in lattice sono davvero apprezzati. Nella camera viene data una bottiglia di acqua naturale omaggio. Il servizio wifi è semplice da usare e veloce. La colazione tutta bio è davvero buona, non ha tantissime cose tra cui scegliere ma quelle che ci sono (che comunque non sono poche) sono davvero buone, in particolar modo le torte, i cornetti, fagottini ecc. L'ambiente poi è molto piacevole, è tranquillo, c'è silenzio e l'arredamento è curato fin nei minimi particolari. Ho apprezzato molto l'idea di realizzare un intero albergo sull'idea del bio: materiali bio, prodotti bio a colazione, energia bio, ecc.

This might be a nice hotel. It's management, not so much. In October 2023 I tried to book one night in March 2024 using the hotel's reservation website. I originally put in the date I wanted, but then I was asked to correct something. I did so, not noticing that the date I had requested had automatically changed back to that day's date. I got a "confirmation" that I was expected at the hotel that same night. (It was already almost midnight in Milan. I had 15 minutes to get there from Seattle Washington!) I immediately emailed and then telephoned the hotel acknowledging my mistake and asking to change the reservation to my requested date in March (still more than five months away!) The man on the phone was very kind but said he would have to check with management because they had a 24 hour cancellation policy. He later wrote saying management had refused my request. I told them to give my room to someone who was cold or hungry. I'm writing now because I have just received the credit card bill for the room that I was never allowed to use. Shame on the Biocity Hotel and its management.
