Clean and great lodge with delicious breakfast and quite atmosphere.

I always stay at Blue Hills Lodge when I visit Johannesburg. The rooms are well appointed and have everything you need. It is quiet but centrally situated. The staff very friendly and the helpful and the homemade breakfast to order fantastic. Keep up the good work guys!

I visited JHB and required a comfortable accommodation with breakfast for my first visit to JHB in 2025 The property is located very centrally in Midrand. Room was very comfortable, lovely gardens and a good breakfast.

Very friendly and supportive staff. Comphy beds. Hot water. Beautiful garden. Amazing breakfast. The staff was available at all times to assist us. The rooms was very neat and tidy. There was complimentary peanuts and juice in our fridge. You can sit in the garden for hours and listen to all the different birds and to look at the lovely roses. Beautiful pool, as well. The breakfast was delicious.

The accommodation was very comfortable with stylish furnishings suiting the theme of the guesthouse. The environment is warm and cozy with fireplace in the common lounge/bar area. The breakfasts are great, and the curry chicken dinners are to die for... complements to the staff preparing this. Every morning racing pigeons would circle the property with a rush of wind as they pass overhead time and time again. I highly recommend that you try this country home away from home.

Christina and the team at Blue Hills Lodge was amazing during my 3-week stay. They were very accommodating and ensured that everything went smoothly, without a hitch. My entire team joined me at the lodge for a week and they too, had a lovely experience with comfortable rooms, steady and reliable internet and no loadshedding interruptions. Thanks to Susan, Christina, Mike and the rest of the team for a great stay!
