Arrogant, rude reception staff. Kept me waiting whilst attending to queue jumping hotel staff. Hotel tired. Very poor meal options for vegetarians. The Duty manager Connor did his best. But the hotel and staff need a major overhaul. Especially the rude and arrogant reception staff.

Air conditioner in room didnt work, fan in room didnt work. Housekeeping ignored do not disturb on the door, and then only made the bed, didn't clean the room.

Fire Alarm went off a couple times. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. Would stay here again.

I stayed for three nights. My room was next to a boiler room whice was very loud. Night reception said that it was broken and that they'd tell day staff about it and try and get it fixed. Gave day staff a reminder. The issue wasn't resolved and no follow up was given. I needed ear plugs when sleeping, because of this. I can imagine this could disrupt the sleep of many people.

With ongoing renovations, you shouldn't accept reservations for the rooms in the affected wing. Exposed wiring (on the ceiling), generally torn-up look make a negative impression while overall the property seems great and offers good value. A let-down.
