西麥迪遜大學區附近凱藝飯店(Quality Inn Madison West Near University Area)

My check-in was delayed by the guests in line ahead of me having their reservation mishandled. The clerk apologized to them but did nothing to resolve the issue. When I went out later there was another guest in an argument with the clerk. I paid for 2 nights. When I returned after my day out, my key card didn't work. I had to bang on the door to be let into the lobby, and the desk clerk reactivated my key. He never spoke a word during the whole transaction. At breakfast, the waffle batter dispenser ran empty. I informed staff; all he did was nod.

We stayed at the Quality Inn for Homecoming Weekend at Madison. The property has a lot of retail and restaurant options nearby. The property and rooms are clean but pretty basic. It's been awhile since I saw a "heat lamp" light in the bathroom, ha! We didn't try the free breakfast but nice that it was available. It was a 22 minute Uber to the College to meet up for the tailgate and game from the property which was fine. Better than the $500 hotel rates in town.

I guess you get what you pay for, but I only expect the minimum at a budget hotel.. Unfortunately, I don't feel like we even had that. When we arrived, there were many indications that cleaning was a minimum (or maybe didn't take place): TP left in the toilet, food in the fridge, stains on all the bedding, and the shower had lots of hair in it. Besides cleanliness, the rest of our experience was as expected at this price: mediocre breakfast, nice people at check-in, and a safe-feeling parking lot. I will add that our room was at the end of the hall (far from the stairs), and still heard people slamming doors all night. Wouldn't recommend staying here- you can find a better budget hotel elsewhere.

When we checked in it was ok. The front desk person just charged the card not asking if I wanted it on a different one. We get into the room and there is this smell of stale smoke. I go to use the bathroom there is a huge spider in the shower. There is sticky residue on the mirror by the tv . Also there were stains on the bed sheets. According to their guide on the tv it stated they had ABC so my bf and I could watch the badger game together. After throughly going through all the channels a few times. I go to the front desk hoping for some sort of resolution. Comes to find out he is the general Manager. He is not very knowledgeable in his own title of this hotel property. He didn’t know how to troubleshoot the TVs, not willing to look at another tv to see if it was just mine and he was saying spectrum would have to fix the problem. Now that is just laziness. You are located in a college town where sports are big and you don’t have ABC. My room was 133 and the date of staying is 9/24-9/25

I rented a room and was in there for probably 3 maybe 4 hours. There was cigars in the trash can and the room smelled like cigars. I got a headache and I just left

Clean lobby, hallways, and room. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was good. The eggs were not over-cooked - a rarity! I needed an overnight stay for my spouse who was in the hospital. The price was what I was hoping for.

Was easy check-in, front desk attendant was nice. Big parking lot right of highway. Room was nice, clean, and in good condition. Only thing negative is could hear people in hallway easily.
