Finest cuisine (both in quality and range of choice), breakfasts to die for, exemplary service, welcoming and friendly staff who can’t do enough to help( nothing is too much trouble for them!) Excellent hotel location and masses to see and do in the vicinity - the use of the included Merano guest card is an absolute bonus for using public transport in the region. Can’t recommend highly enough and would love to return again in the future."

"From the moment we arrived, the experience at this charming hotel exceeded the expectations. The cozy atmosphere feels like home. Every morning began with a delicious homemade breakfast. The staff/owner were exceptional, always ready with helpful tips for exploring the local area. They even provided a bus ticket, making transportation a breeze but the city can also easily reached on foot within 20 min (downhill). Parking was convenient and the rooms were clean with warm water. As a special touch, we received a lovely surprise for New Year's Eve."

"We had the most fabulous time in the mountains of Merano. I had forgotten how wonderful the mountains are. I cannot fault the hotel in any way. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful. The food was exceptional. The hotel was very low key comfortable. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary whilst staying there and they really looked after us on the day. It would seem that the British have not found Merano which is a major plus. I think we did not hear English spoken by a tourist or see a UK registered car in all the time we were in Merano. Wonderful!"
