惠靈頓爾賓館(Wellington Inn)

Lovely location, very peaceful and the views were amazing for our 2 night stay. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and plenty of it, I had the omelette and my husband chose a full English. We were looked after very well on the Sunday morning by a very attentive male waiter who had a lot of tables to look after. On Monday there were only 5 tables in for breakfast and the lady who was on duty was not so attentive, forgot our toast, my husband had to get his own coffee refill as none was offered, she seemed more interested doing some reception duties despite the fact that it looked like the manager was also on duty. We ate in the restaurant on the Saturday evening and the food was very nice. The only let downs were the very unreliable WI-FI and the tired room. The double bed was extremely creaky, every time one of us moved in the night we disturbed the other. The toilet has a very noisy cistern when refilling and there are little things around the room that let down the quality. There was a knob missing off the end of the bed and the back of the bathroom door looked a bit unfinished / damaged. There are not enough plug sockets in the room, we found an extension lead under the bed which the bedside lamps were plugged into and had to crawl around to pull that out so we could charge our phones etc. There was no information pack in the room, could do with something to show breakfast times, opening hours and the menu etc. That said the shower was great and the towels were big and fluffy. Watch out if you book with *********** as they don’t take payment, it shows as pending in your bank account but then you have to pay on arrival.

Lovely countryside inn in a quiet location, close to Harrogate . Room was a good size, clean and bed comfortable. Stocked with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was amazing, portion size and quality of food. Staff were friendly and accommodating our requests. We ate dinner in the bar , good selection on the menu plus specials on the board and selection of ales on tap. Was nice to be able to have a peaceful walk before bed

What an absolute treat! Stunning location, superb staff, clean as a whistle and the view from the balcony room is amazing. The room is a small double but with the French windows onto the generous balcony open that didn’t matter at all. Good value. Great food. Some of the thickest and most luxurious towels ever encountered! Attentive without being intrusive the staff were spot on.

Absolute disappointment how we was treated we payed for a room a week before we was about to go on the day the money went back in the bank so we had no room they did not email or ring to tell us so we had to find something else then 9.30 that night they have the check to take the money back out my bank we ring them up to see why and we get this very clever man on the other end who would not do a refund and did not want to know no because they have had there money so be very careful people when booking this wellington inn would not recommend to anyone want shutting down doing that to people disgusting people

Wonderful welcoming real fire! Lovely bar and restaurant! Steak Pie second to none! Room beautiful and clean,fresh and quiet. Views stunning. Enjoyed a stroll to the very pretty village too. Many thanks to all the great staff! Would definitely go back!

Not been for 2 years always been nice and plenty of choice but booked for Sunday lunch we were in the restaurant not full . The lunch was ok but nothing special but expensive for what it was The parsnips were extra wich is standard on a Sunday lunch and the mixed vegetables were bulked up by courgettes.

The location is beautiful and pub is welcoming with open fire .Staff were friendly and helpful.The breakfast was very good and plenty of it.internet service was bad.The room was very small and few electric sockets.It was a shame as room let it down

A cosy welcoming inn with a beautiful log fire. Sensibly dogs welcome in certain areas. We had Sunday Lunch followed by deserts; all were superb and generous portions. The cask beer, Boltmaker, was in really good nick. We were served by six different members of staff, all were fantastic, service was 11/10.

We decided on a weekend away and picked The Wellington Inn at ramdom and im glad we did because , The location was amazing The Hotel was brilliant The food was delicious The Staff friendly and Welcoming The Bed was comfy The Room was spotlessly clean The Shower was perfect Slight tiny criticism Tv Channels in room not many ! Room was cold on arrival We would definitely stay here again if vusiting Harrogate / yorkshire Came away fresh and ready for Monday
