Welcome to Moondance Cabin, your new favorite cabin located just outside the Red River Gorge in Daniel Boone National Forest. This cabin was just built in 2021 and includes all the modern amenities of home, with a beautiful view included. This cabin features an open and bright kitchen and living room, with vaulted ceiling and large windows showing off the expansive valley. The living room also has a gas fireplace, cozy couch and love seat and plenty of additional seating. There are 2 bedrooms, one offers a king-size bed, and the other bedroom includes a queen-size bed, and a bunk bed with two queen sized beds.This layout offers privacy for couples and plenty of space for families. You will never get bored when you are staying at Moondance cabin! This cabin offers cornhole, horseshoes, and a fire pit for smores. For rainy days, there are plenty of board games, puzzles, cards, and all the streaming services you can watch.The back deck area is completely covered and has an outdoor dining area with seating for 6. The hot tub overlooks the valley and offers a wonderful view of the valley. The screened-in porch is the perfect place to relax and read or enjoy your morning coffee. This A frame cabin is a unique 2.5 acre getaway that is nestled in the Daniel BooneNational Forest just minutes away from Cave Run Lake, Broke Leg Falls, Red River Gorge, Morehead, and about 45 minutes from Carter Caves! You will be surrounded by nothing but nature. If you love the outdoors there is plenty to keep you busy... hiking, fishing, boating, kayaking, mountain biking, golfing, and of course if you just want a place to get away from it all this is your spot. There is a gas and charcoal fire grill to cook those burgers and roast the hot dogs. Fire pit out back perfect to roast marshmallows, eat smores and tell a few scary ghost stories. It’s a great place to escape and enjoy the simple simple things in life.Other things to noteThe cabin is at the end of the gravel driveway. The driveway has a steep incline to getup to the main road when leaving the cabin. In the case of rain/snow I would suggestparking at the top and walking down to the cabin.
