All staff are very kind with good service from everyone. We love their hotel.

Very Friendly and attentive front of house, and a lovely dining space! I felt the food could have been better, salad with the steak was just a pile of rocket with one slither of cucumber and the tomato was tiny and looked a bit sad… however the mushrooms which I added were nice and the steak itself was spot on. five potato wedges with the pie!? If it was my meal I probably would have asked them to rethink. Locally I think the menus pricing is pretty competitive, and the range is good. But food standard has so room for improvements.

Loveliest staff imaginable, always a warm welcome ,so pleasant with my elderly father ,his favourite lunch spot ! Fantastic since refurbished, food is outstanding . Service quick and efficient, nothing too much trouble. Excellent value too in current climate. Great job everyone there.

My husband and I celebrated our 46th Wedding anniversary here, we were given a lovely table overlooking the Menai Strait and the place had a lovely atmosphere despite being busy. We were served by a lovely Waitress called Charlene and she attended to our every need! We ordered the pie and the cod which were cooked perfectly and came out quickly. We treated ourselves to dessert, the cheesecake and ice cream and both were delicious. Staff are so friendly and the place is beautiful, we wouldn't go anywhere else!

Visited this little gem . I was in my own but needed a well earned meal and drink. Was made very welcome and didn’t feel overwhelmed as on my own. Was seated to a beautiful table looking over the Menai . Fish and chips was to die for. Hot fresh and cooked to perfection. Sat back and relaxed with a cappuccino looking over the Menai . So peaceful . Perfect way to finish my visit ! Well done the staff at Victoria. Will be back soon

We visited the Victoria on Monday as a family of 4 and we were pleasantly suprised. We found the whole experience to be wonderful, the ambience of the place was amazing, the staff were friendly and looked after us very well. We had 4 mains which were all so tasty and cooked perfectly and we couldn't resist having pudding aswel! Value for money and we can't wait to visit again soon!

What a find ! Lovely makeover of an old hotel the restaurant is really comfortable and appealing with an amazing view and terrace . We all had a Sunday roast and the portion was generous food was fresh and I was thrilled to have a great gluten free option even a Yorkshire pud - that is not easy to find . Service was quick and staff pleasant - good value for money we can’t wait to go back when it is better weather and sit outside .

Lovely location,food not so good. Came here for a family birthday. The hotel is excellent overlooking the Menai straits,nice restaurant and outside seating area,the food however is not so good and overpriced. I ordered the Duo chicken at £16.95. When it came it was some wild rice with a small chicken breast which was tough,some over cooked chicken *****s and some garnish. Not worth the price by any means. My partner ordered the rump steak ciabbata which was full of gristle, she left the majority of it and ended up making a chip sandwich with the ciabbata. The food does not match the hotel,which is a shame because as I say, it is in a lovely location.

We have just left after giving up waiting for our food to arrive.. waited 40mins for a glass of water which never arrived and gave up on the starters .. awful service and no manager to be found to complain to! The waitress went to find a manager but we gave up on that too .. off to the chippy!
