Was here for a conference at the adjoining conference center. Don't let the close proximity to the Renasant tempt you to stay. Half of the people I traveled with had broken air conditioning in their rooms, some having it break in the middle of the night. I had to switch rooms as the first was 85 degrees and had ants crawling on the AC unit. The bathroom makeup mirror was broken and so were the racks holding the shampoo and conditioner. The second room was a little better but was still very dirty. There was a dirty washcloth left in the sink for the first two days. The duvet and carpet had dirt on it and part of the floor was sticky. The hallways are stuffy, humid, and musty, the elevators seemed like they are falling apart, and the skybridge to the conference center smelled like mold. As others have mentioned, the restaurant in the lobby is extremely expensive for what you get so don't bother. The hotel is also on the edge of downtown and we didn't feel very comfortable walking to places. The place really needs a refresh.

I am not a fan of Hilton hotels, hotel was OK clean and tidy but rooms a little dated! Location is ok around 10 mins walk to Beale Street, I didn’t particularly feel safe in Memphis but that was due to feedback from other people I never experienced any trouble and police go to great lengths to offer protection ! Communication with hotel was not great, we were going to arrive later than the check in time and they were not responding to my emails! It was Ok in the end but I did have a panic! I personally would not return to Memphis But had a great time in Graceland and Stax studio and enjoyed the duck march at The Peabody. Also enjoyed BB Kings for a meal and to watch a great blues band!

We visited Hotel Napoleon for three nights during our trip to Tennessee. It was an absolute pleasure. The hotel is close to all amenities and only a very short walk from Beale street. The decor is absolutely beautiful, the staff absolutely amazing. A special mention has to go to Rocky, the hotel concierge who made our stay absolutely faultless. Also, Si another staff member who was so willing to help. From personalised gifts in our room on arrival to the chats and laughs it is safe to say we will definitely be visiting again. Looking forward to next time, from the Irish ladies in Room 208.

It is always a treat to stay at the Peabody. I can always count on a special stay, everything is always top notch. Very good location, easy on and off to and from the interstate. Restaurants are all very close. I can’t say enough good things about the Peabody.

We were exceptionally pleased with the service we received here. At check-in, we were greeted as Platinum Elite members and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we received Platinum benefits. There is a charge for valet parking, but the cost was a bargain, for the service. We ordered room service for dinner, for which there is an additional charge, but it was well worth it, because - again -we had exceptional service. Food was very good for dinner and even better, for breakfast. Our room was very clean, with soft beds. It was more quiet than we had anticipated, but that may be because Beale Street is actually about a block away. Hotel is in a great location, right across the street from Fedex Forum and the Memphis Rock & Soul Museum. Easy drive to Graceland. Also, there are many great restaurants within 1 to 2 miles of this hotel. We will definitely keep this hotel ”on the radar” for a future visit !
